Friendyl staff, great food. The chef cooked for me delicious vegetarian pasta, although it was not on the menu. Hungry Lion burger is worth a try😁 U will be surprised by its size. Great value for money

Great food at affordable prices! Staff and owners are friendly. Look out for the weekday specials usually written on a big sign out front. Place is usually busy and there is a lovely vibe. On the way to or from the Kruger National Park (Phalaborwa gate) pop in for a visit!

Maybe the other food is good but the calamari we had was a ripoff.At R95 it is ridiculous expensive for the small pieces of calamari we had which tasted like nothing.Look at the photo i am posting and compare to other seafood restaurants .Luckily we had enough chips and the waiter was excellent

Cassie & his team are awesome. They always on the ball, very attentive to the customers needs. The food is definitely worth 5 stars. Regular live entertainment for young & old. A great family place as there is also a play area for the kids.

It was a last minute decision to eat at Big Five Pub & Grill, and it made me hungry for more!!With a wide variety of dishes, all of which exceptionally tasty and served in a unique way, this place is definitely worth a visit!The service we received was warm and friendly, as was the atmosphere.We will be back for more!

Great place in Phalaborwa. Typical pub fare. Had the daily special of Eisbein. WOW. One of the best I’ve ever had. Beers are well priced and the have ice boxes built into the tables, so they are always cold and readily available. All in all a really good place

Love the feel and atmosphere of Big5. Karaoke always a good night and the veggie pizza is to die for (especially after a few too many...) Just wish there were more vegetarian options...

Service was very good however the food was average. I had the snails which were embedded in a very cheesy, garlic sauce inside a hollowed out burger roll. Couldnt really taste the snails. All and all just seemed an odd combination. Then had the Monday night burger special which seems to have been dunked in BBQ sauce. Not home made and just not very special. Wouldnt go back to eat.

This place was recommended to us but we werent impressed. My husband ordered the special and was disappointed at the quantity he received. My mom in law was also disappointed at the quantity of her ribs. Food tasted ok though.

All beer and coldrinks not cold. Can be served colder to customers. When you add ice the drink is flat. Phalaborwa is very hot and things are expensive.

Waited for absolute ages for the food this evening and it definitely wasnt worth the wait. The pizza was so oily it was impossible to pick up, the vegetables were so salty they were inedible, and the eisbein had some sickly sweet basting which didnt complete the meat at all. Quite disappointing for a restaurant reviewed so highly
