Huge choice, amazing stock....and I am from Gauteng... wish our local stores were half as good as this store

Very bad service. 2 x packers at till talking. I had to load my groceries self in trolley. They just keep chatting away. I told them im in hurry need to go to work. The look i got. Trolleys at door 6 x broken

Butcher department made a significant upgrade in quality and I was impressed today. Vegetables and fruit were fresh and good looking which made it a pleasure to select.

Love the little garden promotion that they have at the moment...what a brilliant idea...we want more promotions like this please...

Pretty good. Very big compared to the other retailers in the area. As always with these things they could use additional tellers. Staff are generally helpful and store is clean. They seem to be constantly busy, which implies decent turn over of products, so things like meat etc should be fresh. They certainly have a wider selection of products than everyone else.

Probably the best place to buy produce in Phalaborwa as its a very big Checkers. Other option is the Pick n Pay, but I havent spent much time in it.Produce is generally pretty good, youll be able to get all your shopping done between the 2 shops. Youll also find a Game and 2 liquor stores plus some banks and clothing in this complex.

Whould have given it 0 stars if I could. Poorest service in town, no one available to pack the bags, only 3 tills open with alot of customers! Atrocious!

The NEW and improved Checkers that opened 25 March 2015 is an absolute treat. Amazing.
