Me and my family had the misfortune of staying at accommodation that neighbours with this property during our holiday in Paternoster last week. For 3 days we were forced to endure the owners (Rina) harrassment and insults.It started on the first afternoon, when she loudly told the story of her recent elbow surgery to one of her guests. Done from her balcony as usual. At first we ignored it, since we were trying to relax with books and afternoon naps. I couldnt ignore it further when she made comments about her doctors skin tone(My doctor was good even though he was...) Armed with my most charming smile, I went over to ask if she could keep it down, since we could hear the whole conversation. I was told I should listen, because it was an interesting story. When I didnt respond, she started screaming accusations at me. At this point I walked away. She then proceeded with her story, at the same volume.The next morning I was harassed at our accommodation when I made the mistake of shushing her dog that was barking at me while I was having my coffee outside. She and the dog had already woken us around 7h00 am when she screamed at kids in the street, right in front of our bedroom windows. Her dog barking at every word. She screamed at me for quieting her dog and then the insults flew. She even commented on my clothing (Your hoodie makes you look like a thief!). All from her balcony. This was upsetting and once again I walked away from the conflict. The rest of the day we heard her discussing us, loudly, to anyone who would listen. Also screaming at her gardener not to take our refuse bin out (Were not doing them any more (?) favors). The bin was empty since we only arrived the previous day...I mentioned all of this to the owner of our accommodation, but was told to ignore her as she keeps an eye on the surrounding properties when the owners are away.We love visiting this beautiful coastal town and was looking forward to a well deserved holiday. This was our first break away since the lockdown travel ban started. Rina made it an unpleasant and stressful vacation and unfortunately, we will not be returning to the same accommodation or anywhere close to Malmok Road in fear of having to deal with her again.I feel she was selfish and took a simple request, to take us into consideration, as a personal attack. A person that relies on tourism for her income, should know better and treat people accordingly. She should not be allowed to negatively affect the industry by harrassing and insulting visitors. Especially when these visitors are not even her guests. We should be supporting each other as this pandemic has affected us all, not just financially, but also emotionally. We should not break down relationships that benefits the whole community.

The most quiet, romantic place with the best views of the whole of Paternoster Bay. Houses are fully equipped, modern, extra touches, lovely sea decor, quality linen, free WiFi, full DSTV, and safe off street parking, and very affordable. Described as Best hidden secret in Paternoster
