Highly disappointed. Slow service and food was ice cold, cappuccino was horrible very strong filter coffee. Defintely not what a cappuccino should be. Wont come here again

Although my burger was average it would have been more edible if the buns were buttered.It was extremely dry and the baked egg was not done to my satisfactory.The white was still running.It was not at all sunny side up.

The service today 5 December was pathetic, the waitress that was supposed to assist us was on her phone more than she was on the floor to find out if everything was fine and if we needed anything. Finally we got a waiter and after we ordered food we had to go and ask how long it will take.It is a pity as the service on the other occasions that we were there was outstanding

Today 28 December went for brunch. What a terrible experience. First waitress had no mask on and no shoes. When ordering food, there was no vegetables available, no mushroom sauce for a steak. My daughter ordered steak and chips, she could not get a sauce for her steak. The steak was tough. Mine and hubbys food was nice but cold. My son in law had a sandwich which was tasteless. The waitress was sitting on her cellphone instead of checking with us concerning food and drinks. The toilets were disgusting. This place was a favorite place to eat but I will never go back.

After waiting for an hour and a half for food, we left amid humble apologies. The cold drink I had was on the house. I think that being the first weekend open after the Corona virus lockdown they were just overwhelmed so well give them a second chance.

Terrible. Waited 20 minutes for service. Waiters preferred to engage or witness a bar brawl. We left, they didnt even attempt to call us back, dont think they have realised that they lost customers.

We had a good time at cherry on top. Not a huge variety of food, but very tasty and well priced. The service was excellent.

2 Cuppacinos and a milkshake took 20min to arrive.We placed our breakfast order, bacon, eggs, tomatoe and toast. After 40 min we cancelled the order and left.Service is shocking!

Dont waste your time!! We cancelled our order after waiting more than an hour, we had to get our own menus and call a waiter for service. Very disappointing after a long drive to see Parys after many years. ☹

Really good prices for alcohol and beverages. The food isnt bad but does take a while to get to the table, so dont arrive starving. The bathrooms are neat and clean, the outside tables give a nice view with a good breeze. The inside table areas downstairs is also perfect for a shady indoor place to sit. Good for friend gatherings or a family day out.

Ordered burgers and saited an hour to hear they are out of stock with beef patties. Another half an hour to receive alternative food. Everything is slow! Food was tasty, but very small portion of chicken on burger. Nice outdoors feel. Wil think twice before coming again.

We waited so long for our food it was beyond frustration! Never mind trying to order anything extra as it does not arrive. Our waitress was extremely rude when we questioned the menu. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Very disappointed. Walked up stairs. Was greeted with a chips scattered stairway. Only to be told tills not working and waiters walking up and down with no apparent reason or purpose. We were sent away downstairs or to another part of cherry on top. We ordered drinks after getting up to chase a waiter down. Milkshake bigger disappointment was all syrup. I had to ask for milk to be able to drink it. Could not send it back no waiters in sight. Waiter arrived with open 2 litre of milk I added one liter. Smoking people in no smoking areas barman smoking behind the bar. While we were so excited to see this cherry on top, for us there was no cherry not even a smile. Paid for the drinks and left to eat where we were appreciated in Parys.

Worst service ever, doesnt even deserve one star. Sat there for about 15 minutes being ignored completely. Had to ask for a menu. Then waited another half an hour with no one coming to take our order, still being ignored by the waiters, just left and went to spur instead.

This place is great! We arrived after 11.00 am Their breakfast stops at 11.00 We mentioned that we would have liked to have breakfast, and our wonderful waiter said they will make a plan for us. We had a wonderful waiter - friendly and very accomodating. The omelet they served was the best i have had in a long time. The only negative was waiting for the food took quite long but i think this is a general issue in parys.

Ordered a 300g @ R160 steak it seemed the same size as my daughters 200g steak. Dont come here if you want a good meal. Staff was friendly though.

This was the most horribke steak we had in years! 300g T-bone steak medium/ rear was as thin as a burger patty and well done prepared! The 200g medium/rear fillet steak were two thun and tiny pieces of steak and also well done! They dont have a clue how to prepare steak! Will never ever eat there again

Good food at a slightly inflated price. Well equipped for the biker community with hooks for jackets and helmets. I didnt see any place for non-smokers which was uncomfortable.

Extremely lackluster at best. The service was very slow. We ordered some draught beers but they told us that they had run out of draught glasses so they couldnt give us our order. All the while the people around us who sat and ordered after us were getting ther draught beers and cocktails served in draught beer glasses. We settled for our smaller 300ml draughts and carried on enjoying. We had to ask for an ash tray 3 times and by the time we left we still hadnt gotten it to our table. The waiter forgot to bring us our bill and when he eventually did bring it, it was the wrong bill.The place is good if you just want to have a drink, but if we struggled this much to get our drinks I I cant even imagine what problems food might bring.

Pizzas were dreadful, basically soggy wraps not pizza base. Plus the toppings were not we ordered, even the second time they got it wrong and everything was drowned in mass produced garlic. Horrible. I do not recommend.

Nice food and very affordable

At start we were not seated , the table that we got was very dirty , the glass for my drink they brought wasnt clean , and ladies restroom was not sanitary and didnt even have paper , or a clean towel, the waiter was very unfriendly, we literally waited over an hour for our food , and when arrived some of it was cold , im not one to usually complain at all , but i am very disappointed , and wouldnt suggest to anyone .

Very disappointedArrived at 9 40. Waited half hour for coffee. Then another hour and breakfast was served yet. Paid for coffee and left. Service was poor and management non existant. Wont see me again.

Group outing on a Wednesday. Upstairs airy open space. Smokers haven. Breakfast was good, so to service. Food mostly inexpensive, found the coffee blend for cuppachino untasteful. Off street parking at the rear a bonus.

We visit Cherry on Top regularly and have always received prompt service.Menu has a wide selection of wines, specialty steaks, as well as a sushi.The upper-deck offers a good view of the small town of Parys.Great selection of cocktails available.The lower portion of the restaurant has a wheelchair accessible parking and entrance.During winter times; the furnaces provide a romantic and warm atmosphere.This restaurant has good views, is a good place to bring the entire family (kids play area available) and is also popular with the college crowd.It falls within the moderately expensive restaurants category - But worth every penny!

Serving T-bone that has a off smell and the manager acknowledged the claim but accepted the circumstances - not good. No compensation. I wont trust the cook with anything else. Wine is good, as they bought it and did not prepare it.For drinking only - not food.

Took my family there for lunch during the past week. Food was atrocious! Burgers, chicken breast, buns were a few days old already Our bill around R600 will be the last they get from us. Will not be returning there. Absolutely disgusted in this place.
