The overall experience of Mr. Jacobs and his shop is incredibly unsatisfying. I brought in my automatic watch that had a badly damaged glass. Mr. Jacobs agreed that he would fix it for R250. At first the watch was fixed but the mechanism was not working. He told us he would fix it before 2pm and he did. After receiving the working watch I noticed that there were marks that looked like cracks in the glass. i informed him of this and he said that it was the sealant that would just disappear when it is dry. After waiting patiently for it to dry, nothing happened. I asked him how long it would take for it to disappear and he replied that i should bring the watch back and he would fix it for me. The following morning my mother took the watch to his shop and was treated incredibly rudely. The watch was accepted back but he claimed I was incredibly rude and unreasonable. He claimed my watch is fake, which is definitely not the case. The watch is not expensive but it is not replica or a knock off or a fake. After rudely speaking toy mother in front of other clients he said hell fix it and it would be done at 2pm and we could come pick it up. He rudely rushed her out of the shop without listening to what my mother had to say. He also stated that he never wants business from us ever again and because of this experience, we will not be working with him again. At 1:55 my mother arrived at his shop and found the shop locked. I have yet to receive my watch from Mr. Jacobs and I am incredibly upset with how we were treated and with how he handles business brought to him willingly. As I have yet to receive the watch, I have attempted to contact him with no success. I will update the review as the situation progresses but overall Mr. G.P Jacobs did not deliver a satisfactory and professional experience.
