This was my first visit to Vetscape and I can understand why they are so busy. They care deeply about animals and you can see it in the way they treat your animals. They are also very helpful and friendly.

This must be the best animal clinic in South Africa! Very friendly staff, the doctors truly care about the well-being of their patients. They don’t see you and your pet as just another number. Individual care and attention is a priority for them. I will never go to another veterinary clinic. Thank you Dr van Heerden for fixing up puppy when no other vet wanted to - you are the best!

This is a fantastic vet practice - we traveled twice over an hour to get here and it was well worth it. Dr Frans van Heerden is fantastic - my GSD tore all the ligaments in her hock and another vet said she would need surgery. Instead of operating right away like most vets would have, Dr van Heerden suggested we try the conservative route first with rest, physio and exercise restriction. 2 months later our girl is fine and avoided a big and invasive surgery. Dr van Heerden has such a caring manner and is really a knowledgeable and expert specialist surgeon.

They took such good care of my dog. So grateful to Dr. Chris and Dr.Benoit. The staff is amazing and you can see that they genuinely care about animals :)

What stood out for me was the compassion of the staff and they made the connection that my border collie is my only connection with my Dad who passed away! A tumor was successfully removed from the spine by Dr Frans and I will be forever thankful to him and the staff.

We travelled from Melkbosstrand to Paarl as our doggie had to have an emergency splenectomy. We were greeted by such pleasant receptionists. We met Dr Charlie Boucher who was to perform this major op on our mini Schnauzer Pepper. He was already prepared for surgery. What a lovely friendly man. He phoned us after the op to let us know how it went and the night staff sent a photo of Pepper when he woke up. Thank you Dr Charlie. You are a star. A fantastic vetinerary surgeon and we felt safe that Pepper was in your hands. And he was!

Everyone working at Vetscape are so friendly and helpful. One always feels part of a family when you visit them. My animals love going there. The Drs are excelant !

Our cat, Tux, suffered a broken femur and was operated on by Dr Frans van Heerden who was highly professional, caring and responsive. (He had been recommended by our cats usual vet, Dr Tanya Schoeman). The facility on a farm outside Paarl is well-equipped and the atmosphere peaceful which can only be good for the animals - and their stressed humans ! The support staff members especially Sr Lee who looked after Tux overnight and sent WhatsApps and photos of him, were also outstanding. The appreciation of the need to get Tux home as quickly as possible to reduce his stress and aid his recovery was much appreciated. We cannot recommend Vetscape and Dr Frans too highly.
