I was impressed with the overall safety of the estate and quality of workmanship in the houses but also the common areas.

Lovely estate with excellent security and a warm community. Whats great about this estate is that they have loads of amenities available including a soccer field, monkey jungle gym (wood), picnic areas, tennis court, netball hoops, walkways, and a swimming pool (in progress).Cleverly situated, the estate is away from the hustle and bustle of the town, but still close enough for schools and shopping.It seems like a great estate for couples starting families or families with young children.

The best value for money in Paarl. Our buying experience were made really pleasant by the amazing sales lady.

Lived here for about a year. Here are my thoughts:The houses are far too close to each other, when we moved in they were still on the initial stages of development so we knew that the estate would fill up, but as time passed you could really see they were trying to fit as many houses as possible. As time passed more houses were introduced and it just felt like we were being suffocated. Now to the inside of the house, I must say isnt too bad - modern lifestyles would suit Honeydew Houses, my only pet peeve is that they were built using the cheapest mixture of cement Ive ever seen. Upon moving (in and out), accidental bump of the furniture on the corner of a door or wall - lightly - caused it to break or crumble. The yard is not too spacious, but its enough for a mini garden or to lay privately on your own patch of grass etc. Overall the best thing for me about the estate was the security. The guards are always very cautious with New comers/guests that you may bring to your house. They do hourly surveillance and are rather friendly. So my rating of 3/5 - to summarise - is given because:(TLDR part)Cons1. Space is too cramped between houses2. Build quality of the houses are terrible3. Oh and I forgot to mention, the estate is still under development so expect construction workers to be present throughout the week making noise and everything sandy.Pros1. Very secure2.
