They have RE OPENED. Highly recommended! Excellent value for money Cinema. Much more affordable than those in Cape Town and the big cities. Have always only received fast, friendly service. Support them!

Nice Little Cinema. I were there for Avengers Endgame. The Ticket was only 60R and for a large Popcorn and a large Coke I paid together 45R.The seats were comfortable and sound and everything also very nice!They have 2 cinema halls and you can book a ticket just by calling them. With the booking everything worked fine for me. You can find the number for bookings on their website

So nice to have a cinema that is independently owned in our town. Good choice of movies- some for kids, some for adults, and some Oscar winners too. A good option on a rainy day and they keep going through load shedding.

The movies are current and place kept relatively clean. Be sure to use the parking by Checkers and approach cinema from the back, as Lady Grey street can be dodgy. Its easy to book tickets on phone; and advisable for the half price days

The prices here are much better than at any other cinema Ive been to. The half price days and library card discounts are great.

Its cool to have a cinema in Paarl... But I think they should upgrade the seats, its very uncomfortable for long movies. And I think they should make the snacks line move faster if possible... Otherwise great!

Have been there many times and loved the experience. The only thing I find lacking in this facility is wheelchair access as the cinema is upstairs and has no ramp or In-Cinema seets/space for wheelchair bound people. This means people in wheelchairs have to go elsewhere to also have the BIG SCREEN EXPERIENCE or be carried into the cinema

1) its not at the Paarl mall ( made this mistake only once)2) it only has 2 Cinemas so movies are on rotation.3) Mondays and Tuesdays are half price4) the popcorn and snacks are very reasonably priced5) the theater seats are comfortable6) Setting feels like youre at a traditional movie theater, really awesome!7) really cool decor!(They also sell all the old movie posters)

Old town cinema charm. Seats are a little old, but movies are a bit cheaper here and great specials for locals.

It has bad infrastructure and bad staff manship and decor is not up to date and seats and projectors are broken and old and uncomfortable . Ticket prices are very cheap and affordable.

I just feel like ranting for a moment. The place was disorganised. Lines intertwined between the ticket desk and concessionary stand.... add the disrespectful teens and it all makes for a very unpleasant experience. Id rather go and spend my money in cape town

A personal favourite. Always a nice atmosphere. Minimax Paarl can however increase their profitibility by upgrading their snacks area. If possible provide a broader range of snacks and drinks. Also add more space for at least one more cashier, thus also increasing productiviry and efficiency.

Seats are a bit uncomfortable. Especially for people woth back problems and the cinema is always freezing cold but in its simplicity its always a go too for us. You cant beat their ticket prices.

Mondays and Tuesdays half price. Staff, very friendly. My personal experience with the staff who got to know me well was that they got to know me personally. I visited Paarl, where my husband was working, every 2nd month. So I spent 1 month at home in Durban and I month in Paarl. The staff always remembered me when I returned. They have never forgotten what I order from the kiosk (a small popcorn, a small coke zero and a packet of tumbles with raisins). When I bought my ticket they automatically included the price of what I would order at the kiosk and by the time I arrived at the kiosk, my popcorn, coke and chocs, were all ready for me to collect. They make me feel as though I was part of the furniture. That included the manager and projectionist as well. 👌👌👌
