If you intend to purchase equipment from these guys, then think twice. I have tried 3 times to request simple support on three pieces of Filmatic equipment. We have a business in the food industry and have Filmatic machines, we have no manuals for the equipment (misplaced), asked Filmatic for (pdf) manuals, even offered to pay for them. They did not even have the professional courtesy of replying. If a company only looks at their sales process and forgets about the fundamental and often profitable support side of their business you have to wonder about the whole business. Very simple customer service exercise, turns into public relations disaster. Would we purchase Filmatic again - NO NO NO.The quick retort from a employee of Filmatic is laughable, I have left about 6 reviews online over many many years and only for companies like Filmatic who offer terrible service to their customers. I was told that it is new owners and management that are the problem, so perhaps that is why a company that has been trading since 1979 is now a shadow of its former self. I could not believe that a so called professional company would not even support their equipment with a (PDF) manual, they would not even reply to my many requests for pdfs, Instead they would rather take the time to post stupid replies online than provide basic service. All we wanted was a soft copy (PDF) manual of a couple of machines that we have made by this Filmatic. If you cannot supply this to people WHY should they buy your equipment with so much choice in the market place, SIMPLE = DONT BUY IT!!! Happy to take my post down if you supply the PDF manuals, cant be fairer than that.Just noticed a year or more since leaving my review for this company that rather than have the 1 score that FILMATIC had 6 months ago, we now have a whole bunch of FALSE reviews. SAD, all they needed to do was provide basic service and they would not have had to go to the trouble of gaming the online community.
