Just phoned this spar was speaking to a lady about an enqiury before i could even say thank you and good buy she put the phone down in my hear very rude and very unprofesional .Shocking telephone manners .

Great store. Has everything and more, however... This use to be my store where I bought all my meat products. The qaulity and prices of their meat products are not competive anymore. Not on some, all the meat products are very expensive vs other Spar stores. The flags dont fool me, people know your price per kg. I can drive to a famous Artisan butcher in close proximity an get better prices. So thats what I do....or I drive to the two other Spar franchises in Paarl. I did raise the sudden price increases with management two months ago. Still experiencing the some problem, I simply dont buy and drive to another Spar.

Miss the music they played before. Would be nice if they continue with the beautiful music especially the Christmas music this time of year!!!

SuperSpar the shop: Clean and well stocked, just one problem that management really can look into. Almost everyday I do shopping there, the prices is always wrong on certain items. Really frustrating and getting on my nerves. I was a shop manager for 7 years in a bigger retail shop, and there is no excuse for wrong pricing. So check you till slip when walking out because, the shop owner must be making extra money everyday.

Unbelievable experience. The best store in South Africa by miles. Superb selection of spirits, wine selection out of this world at incredible prices as well as properly trained staff who are extremely knowledgeable of their products. Being able to taste various wines is also a winner. The walk in fridge is unbelievable, with a massive selection. Well done Vineyard Spar Tops.

Shameful!! 2 week ago i bought Steak and Chicken at your store prices were great and i referred almost everyone to you! Today (3rd day of lock-down)I went to buy these same products again. You hiked the prices on the Spar chicken flatty from R39 pkg to over R60 pkg and on your spar aged steak it went from R79,99 pkg to over R134,99pkg. that is just a disgrace especially in a time like this when you know the country is struggling( and only establishments like yours are allowed to continue with business)

One of the worst till systems Ive ever come across. Almost all Spars have the single queue system which works great, but not this one. You dont know where to wait or stand. I see everybody is confused every time they stand in a line. Just because its unique doesnt make it functional.

They sell cold food even if you ask them to warm it for they take time and still give you cold food because everyone wants warm food,I dont see the reason why they put things like chicken and fried chips in the fridge ,to make us queue in oven?

I bought a health sandwich on Friday afternoon at 4pm. Saturday morning when I open it, it is white mold between the slices. This is not the first time. Two weeks ago I bought sausages - black pieces inside. Where are the days when Vineyard Spar was still the top store in Paarl.

Excellent service from Andre. They inadvertently asked me for the regular price instead of the discounted price but I found it at home first and then called Andre. He was very friendly and I explained to him that I do not come to Paarl every day because I live in Brackenfell but he said it was no problem he would pick up my slip and deliver the money to my house the next day. Now heres a guy who goes the extra mile for his company to keep his clients happy ... thanks so much Andre. Greetings Henry

The buying experience at Vinyard Spar is so negative for me. The products are good but the absence of service makes my whole visit awful. I only went to buy 4 things today:At the vegetables there was no one to weigh. Other staff see it but do not come to help or call anyone to come weigh.At the ready-made food counter, staff first complete their own personal conversations before thinking about helping customers.I search for soup on the shelfs price and finally find the right slip with bar code far from where the product stands. At the till they do not read the price on the shelf and I chose not to take the soup a.g.v. the price. No one is making an effort to fix it.The counter at the till on which I have to unpack my food is so dirty. I ask the lady if there is a rag, but she just looks at me.Wow, I was pretty ashamed that this is a shop in town where I live :-(
