Such a disappointment this morning as I am a frequent customer. I confirmed opening hours as 8:30 and due to tight schedule today I arrived at 8:25 standing outside the shop waiting for it to open. Inside I could see was an office meeting being held. At 8:31 I moved to front of the doors confirming on the doors the opening time. Most of the staff saw me and at a point the person that was speaking with his back to me turn around and looked at me at the door for a brief moment. At 8:35 no sign they were finishing up and I had to leave.

Pet & Pool is a comprehensive shop that sells goods for all kinds of pets, while also selling products for pools and fish tanks. In the Paarl area it sells pet food brands which other shops doesnt readily stock (e.g. Ideal dog food). The staff is really helpful and will go the extra mile for their clients. They also have a loyalty system that rewards you for buying from them. Their shop has also been revamped and it looks magnificent.

Every time I get there the staff is friendly and i get good service

I quite like this store. Nice layout, big and spacious and everything you need for your pet and pool. The floor on the staff is very helpful but they could use another checkout or two.

I am trying to have a new diafram fitted to Barracuda Sweeper pool cleaner. Either the technician do not know how to fit it or he is trying to fit a wrong diafram. Every time I drive 40 km. I had been there 3 times. No succes. Who is going to help me please. Please.

I enjoy reviewing places that have people on the floor who interact positively and willingly. They are an invaluable asset for any business. I had such an interaction at pet and pool. I wish I could remember persons name. He was polite, friendly, helpful, humorous and made our day by giving sage advice. Invest in the people on the floor...they are critical for the success of the business.

Mixed experiences: the guys on the floor are very helpful, but the ladies at the till are grumpy and stubborn. How about starting your day with smile, ladies? Show that youre passionate about your job. The guys are!

Good service and price

Door closed due to mild cold, without any sign that the store is open. Staff friendly but sit behind the counter in deep conversations with colleagues, a few times where price on the shelve differ from the till, frustrating.

This is actually a daytime disco. If you want to shop in peace this is not the place. It has been 2 months since i emailed a complaint and got an excuse from the reception lady/dj but still not giving me the franchise owner of paarls number! Wonder why?
