The greens on this golf course are immaculate. Eating at the clubhouse with a view of the course and excellent service makes for a great 19th hole!The residential houses on this estate have something to offer for everyone. There are budget friendly houses for new families that want to live in a quiet, secure and lifestyle estate, and there are free-standing houses on the golf course for the more selective.

Abselute shocker of a state the Paarl (old course) is in. Charging R650 per player is daylight rubbery with such a bad state of the course. Should be closed down or all greens replaced. Wont be playing here again.

Great quality course

Decent layout. Greens in very good condition. However same can not be said for fairways and tee boxes. Unfortunately this is because of the drought. The clubhouse and change rooms are great. Some of the better facilities Ive seen in the Cape. I also liked the fact that they had 2 chipping greens and a separate putting green.

If you want unpretentious golf, then this is the course for you. It has all the wonderful facilities you would come to expect of a 5 star course without the unwelcome feeling you get from many others. Course is a challenge, although fairly short. Good day out.

19 of March 2018, we played Paarl hole 27 thru 10.We knew that the fairways were very, very, very dry as most of the golf courses in the area. So, we were accepting this and had really no problems with it.Also, we knew that Paarl has at lot of lakes environmentally friendly uses the water from the lakes to water the greens. The area was so dry and water level in the lakes very low or totally dried out.It so evident that water was a scarce resource.Its therefore totally incomprehensive and close to be stupid to have the greenkeepers watering the greens in the afternoon.The sun is shining from at blue sky, its 28 degrees and they even use a water hose with a very fine nozzle spreading the water like a mist.I would guess that 80% of the water evaporates before it does any good. What a waist.Why is the watering of the greens not done at night before sunrise were maybe only 20% of the water would evaporate?There is room for improvement and I think the management of the golf course should do something about it.The greens were fine even a little soft, but there were to many ball marks. I used my pitchfork on 4-5 ball marks on each green.I the T-boxes and even on the fairway there were so many cigarette filters butts it was a disgrace. Here is really room for improvement.Clean it up please and forbid smoking on the course.

A very challenging course, 27 holes of which you are designated 18, we played 1 to 9 and 19 to 27, the latter was the most challenging especially as there was plenty of high winds, and water hazards that came into play.Overall a well maintained course just off the N1 freeway as you reach the Paarl city limits, spectacular views of Paarl Rock and the Taal en Kultier Monument.This course is well worth a visit as it is on the popular N1 wine route, nearby accommodation is in abundance for the out of town visitor.Equipment is also available for hire at a reasonable rate.

First encounter was racism, how could the residents call security saying there is a black man walking outside(This was the person coming to fetch me from the gate) Are black man not allowed to walk within the premises?
