Im standing here. I came with a friend who have cancer but Im not allowed to escort her inside to see her doctor. I understand covid protocol but really theres amendment stating that a patient is allowed one escort in the waiting room. Further more I see other patients being allowed to sit with a family member. I sure do hope something is done about this unfairness that security staff here are showing.
Does not even deserve one star. very bad service and some nurses are so rude, they should not be working with people. My mom was in hospital for COVID for 3weeks and every time we phone there for an update some of the staff was so rude. when we spoke to my mom, she was so nerves and shaken by the way they treated her. we could not visit her and the only way was to phone. they day before she passed away, a very rude nurse picked up the phone and told us not to phone them. we are so disappointed in the service. please Paarl hospital speak to your staff, if they cannot treat patients with respect, they should not be working with them.

Whent there for my vaccine staff friendly and helpful quick service clean and neat place
On the 3rd of Feb 2020 I had to take my dad to hospital for a procedure. I was astounded by the beautiful facility, cleanliness, professional and friendly staff and the excellent service received. I had sent photos of the facility to family and friends in other provinces and they were under the impression that it was a private hospital, as the government hospitals in other provinces are in a dismal state, staff are rude and service is non existent. Well done to Paarl Provincial Hospital - you should be very proud
On the 18 December My 9 month old baby had a fever fit & was transferred to Paarl Provincial HospitalInto Pediatric Ward, he was not responsive on arrival & the doctors took over.We spent 7 days in hospitalDr A. L Sullivan & team with the nurses helped my babyThey were so helpful with everything & answered every question neededThey gave me good advice on how to go forward & saved my babyIm totally grateful for the amazing staff.Doctors, nurses & food hostessesAll excellentThank you guys for everythingMy baby is healthy & playful once again
YOU NEED TO SEE WHO IS IN CHARGE , THAT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE !!! THE WHOLE HOSPITAL STAFF MUST TAKE A BLOODY BUS AND GO AND VISIT GEORGE HOSPITAL . THERE YOU WOULD BE AWOKEN AND SHAKEN IN YOUR PANTIES AND YOU MIGHT GET JEALOUS AND ANGRY BECAUSE YOUR HOSPITAL IS DEEMED AS N HOSPITAL OF TERRIBLE SERVICE

Paarl Provincial Hospital serves a large rural community so everything happens slowly. Minimum waiting time is 3 hours. The hospital are generally clean and well kept, but no toilet paper on ground floor, only boxes and boxes of free, government issued condoms. The building is new and modern and the staff are competent and organized. The community are well served with the available resources at hand.
My wife took my 5 year old doghter to this hospital, our daughter had a high fewer and lower back pain. She could not even stand up, if she tried she collapsed on the floor. My wife came there, told them whats wrong and nothing happened. She sat there with our daughter and son for hours on end, nobody came to them or they moved chairs...nothing.
When someone is in a hospital they are at their most vulnerable. I have visited a lady working for me twice at this hospital within the last 60 days. Both times I was disheartened at this place with ‘no heart’. There is zero expectation of anyone doing more than expected of them. My disappointment therefore stems from the reality that employees are not even doing the basics, that can and should be expected from them, with any pride. Super sad!
My dad has been in Paarl Provincial Hospital a couple times since November 2013. I have to compliment the hospital staff, nursing staff and doctors for the excellent care they have given my dad. The way the treated my father was better than the private hospitals that he has been at.To all the doctors and nursing staff of Ward 6B and casualty, I want to thank you and commend you on the way you look after the patients. You are absolutely wonderful!!
Give them 2 stars for trying to give good service in general its really bad if medical aid wasnt so expensive i know people would never go there waiting time is 24 hours. The hospital itself very great after upgrades and looks like private hospital but so under staff and some of them act as they are beter than the people they serve no more love for what they do just another career. How long do we have to wait for a Dr report after being released from hospital Oooh lets see....
My friend had to wait 48 hours in the emergency room with her 11 year old daughter,to have her daughter s appendix removed. Three days later the girl had to go back to the theater because of an infection.

Very very poor performance... I went with my 2yr old baby who is very sick shes been vomiting everything she eats or drink out again... By observation they only gave her glucose water to drink wich she vomit out yet again and shes getting worse by the minute she doesnt have any liquids or food in her bodg and shes getting very weak also when asked for assistance we were told to sit down even if it would cost my babys life... Now my question is why have clinics and hospitals when they dont even care whether your life is in danger or not?
The service is awful, there is little dignity in life or death at this hospital. This was a traumatic experience to visit our friend at this hospital.

Services are poor, Office Staff including Nurses and new doctors lost interest in their work and do not have passion to help people anymore.

My 78 year old grandfather has been laying in hospital for almost 3 weeks waiting for a date to operate this is pathetic to let a old man lay in pain and just be told waiting for a date to operate on his hip
