My experience at Amberg was amazing. I really appreciated the ease with which I could communicate with the staff to adjust some of my arrangements (such as my arrival time). The view of the greater Paarl area left us in awe of the natural beauty. Thank you for a memorable stay!

Beautiful! We had a peaceful weekend, the weather was great and the pool was just brilliant! The mountain view room was perfect for 2 people.

I think the location is beautiful, if youre planning on staying Id strongly advise that you ask the owner to give you the restaurant on the premises location as a pin as finding the actual property on Google maps is almost impossible.We booked the mountain cottage which had mentioned having braai facilities - on arrival we found out that it didnt.The owner upgraded us to the garden cottage which is beautiful - although we didnt have electricity for the night we made the most of our stay.Good stay overall, but I do feel that the owner could be more welcoming and warm to the guests.

Super individual, impressive taste in the decor, great views and a real African ambience at sunset for two on the terrace. A good place to unwind.
