I asked them to fix my HDD, because my Windows wouldnt boot up. They told me it would cost me around R400, I said that would be fine.I left my laptop there. A few hours later they phoned me and asked for my laptop password, because they wanted to see if the HDD was completely fixed. I didnt think much of it and gave them my password.An hour or two after that, they phoned me again and said they were done with my HDD, but it would cost me R800 instead of R400 because they had removed a virus.I never asked them to do a virus scan, just to make my HDD bootable again (which they did with a simple System File Checker scan). I told them R800 was too much, since they said the price would be around R400, and I never asked for a virus scan. They said we could talk about it when I pick up my laptop.When I got there, my laptop was gone. I had told them where I worked when I booked in my laptop - this was a mistake. They took my laptop to my workplace while I wasnt there and asked my employer for the money. My employer gave them R800 without phoning me and I had to pay him back.They should have just kept my laptop at their premises until I picked it up myself. Charging me R400 extra for a virus scan I didnt ask for is unacceptable and I will never use them again.
