Sushi is delicious and fresh. They have an all you can eat option for R169 or buy 1 get 1 free on plates. The 3 star rating isnt because of the food, but rather the ambience and uncomfortable dining experience. In a hot town like Paarl, restaurants should have air-conditioning to keep patrons cool. The warmness inside the restaurant was a result for flies disturbing our meal. The carpet was replaced with tiles, but the interior is a reflection of most average sushi restaurants in South Africa - plastic flowers and old Christmas tinsel.What it lacks in environment and interior, it makes up with taste. So, worth the food. But perhaps consider take out.

Good food and bang for your buck. One meal is enough with some left overs for tomorrow. The grilled dumplings are the best I always get them here. I only get takeaway. Have never sat down. Parking across the street from them. They accept cards and cash. Covid-19 complaint.

Really very disappointed. I went there with 4 of my family members for the buffet, and from the get go, the waiter was almost never at our table. The restaurant was very dimly lit, and a very overzealous homeless person forced his way into the shop and demanded I should give him money. I feel that the restaurant staff should have prevented this, or at least have a security gate in place. Then when we ordered, we waited an hour and forty mins for our sushi. The waiter was only there ONCE in that entire time. And the restaurant was only at about 30% capacity. When the sushi eventually came, the deep fried items were ice cold and chewy, the sushi in general was tasteless and not fresh at all. Because we waited so long, we immediately put in another large order (x3 of us). I started eating and noticed they left off 3 items I ordered, and they were the ones I really wanted to eat. I was very frustrated. We ate and chilled for another hour, and then only one of the three orders came. My sisters and mine never came. When I asked the waitress where my second order is, she said our table is done. So obviously they did not want to serve us more sushi, perhaps we had to big of an appetite according to them. Ive dined at many many sushi buffets, and this was really the worst so far. Never once got a smile from the staff, and never was checked up on, asked if Im happy with the service, nothing. Needless to say, I will never come back and I thought that service would be better since the redo, because years ago I had the same issue. Rather take the drive to CPT if you want a proper fresh sushi buffet.

Had a very very bad first experience, but gave them a second chance and learned that you should definitely not go when they are busy. Otherwise, the Sushi is great and they also take advice and improve.

Usual Chinese restaurant with fake flowers and kitch decor. Sweet n sour pork was heavy on the tomato sauce sweet n sour sauce if youre into that. Oyster beef was ok.

Service is good but their chicken fried rice is not fried rice at all. It is cooked rice with vegetables. Rest of the order was wss good.

Worst sushi ever...just paid over R300 for sushi we couldnt even eat. The salmon is chewy and definitely not fresh and the rice tastes sour..Im not even gonna describe the rest..took one bite and had to through it all away..what a waste!!

I always order the steamed dumplings from here, so good and well-priced! Just expect a fair wait, so I advise calling in the order in advance and then coming in to collect.

Best sushi in town!!!!!!! But, the Chinese food sucked, ordered Singapore noodles, pork chow mein and a sushi combo. Singapore noodles were dry and tasteless, 2 minute noodles had more flavor than that, the chow mein lacked ingredients and the bowl was drenched in soy sauce. I peeked back at the kitchen, through the order window, there were no Asian people preparing the food??? It was done by average folk and definitely not Asian. I ate there 2 years ago and the food was way better. I will hence forward only get sushi there, as the standard is still excellent in that department.

I am nearly always happy with the food here. But today I ordered a pepper salt calamari which so happens to be an ultimate favourite of mine and what I got was mildly salted dry fish-like/calamari shaped things. Not the flavour or meal I ordered and I was literally disgusted by the fact that I was bamboozled out of 70Rands for something I didnt order or even like.

Cruedly made sushi pieces that fell apart, unattractively presented and jammed into cheap polystyrene take away containers. Ended up throwing half of it away, was not tasty at all. Definately the worse sushi we have had. As it was our first visit tried to ask a few questions about the menu but found very disinterest Chinese restaurant owners with zero personality for a service job. The serving lady also was just there to earn a salary with little interest in the job. Can hardly blame her working in such a stale environment. We will never go back there again.
