Was quiet at the time I was there. Staff are friendly. The food took maybe a little bit too long to come but it was good when it did arrive.

It was in the afternoon and I had a meeting there. Covid 19 protocols adhered to. Staff friendly, kept their distance but were attentive in case we needed assistance.

The kids went to play. They were hungry.Kept on coming to check if food was ready.The waitress a tad slow,too many tables ?My beer is finished ,she never came to query whether I would like a fresh one.We are finished with the food,waiting on the waitress to bring our ice cream 🍦. The nuggets needs a doggybag it is starting to dry out.Oh yes the lucky packets. We are still waiting ✋. Oh almost forgot that my original spur burger 🍔, very dry.I would have preferred a more juicy burger patty.The lucky packets finally. The boys went playing games again.I need to go and call them...Im thirsty. I probably need to call a waitress??

Spurs food never disappoint. You can always count on a juicy steak and crunchy onion rings. Spur can however make major improvements on their drinks menu. Eventhough it was updated very recently, the cocktails still lacked a lot of finesse, flavor and alcohol. The idea is there. It just needs to be executed better.

Had a chicken and ribs today, the ribs was especially nice meaty and juicy. Try it you will love it! Well done guys!

Tasty food abd very good service

Visited last Friday, waiters kept standing in groups astound the tills. Each sanitiser dispenser I used was empty. 3 of them around the kids play area empty. Used family toilet for the kids, no soap or paper towels to dry hands. Maybe check these 2 hourly during Covid times.

Had a bad experience a few years ago with the food and manager who disagreed with me on my calamari that was not tough when i complaint when it was clearly over cooked she replaced my meal with a starter meal without my concent just to prove her point then it turns out that it was over cooked i walked out without eating my meal never went back... I visited spur for the first time in years ordered a 300g sirlon steak and the steak was cooked perfecty but was cold when i complaint about it the manager came i explained why i complained and why i returned the food... then he just did not heated up the steak for me he replaced it so that my steak wont be over cooked... This time i was amazed on the taste and the service i also asked for a hot plate instead and received my food in minutes... Well done

We received excellent service at this Spur. Whats great about the Spur franchise restaurants is that it truly is a great and consistent tasting experience at every location.This Spur, specifically, had a running special of R99 for a cheddamelt full portion chicken schnitzel (my favorite).We received excellent service and all COVID-19 safety regulations were put in place.

Everything was fine but the red wine glasses was very small and my wine couldnt breathe i didt enjoy my Glass of wine the wine list out dated and there was no wine. nothing to order on the list no stock i alway go to spurs but my experience Sunday was very bad and i bring guest of over seas very bad please rectify the managers experienced of wine was very little training please.

The Buffalo wings needs to come off the menu now. It doesnt taste as how it did back then. The steak however is still one of Spurs best dishes.

The fries were amazing. Service was good. The floors were a little dirty too.The burger had a funny after taste like it was a soy and beef mix.I appreciate the response and call from Red Mountain Spur. I am glad to see that they consistently strive to deliver a quality product and experience. I hope to return soon to give them another chance.

Worst experience ever!!! Not many customers but had to wait 20 minutes for our drinks and we were only a couple!!! Even worst was our waiter and then we had to wait another 45 minutes for our food!!! Whata disappointment again!! The buffulo wings for a starter were tough with no flavour and the big bear combo the worst!!! Wow people what the heck happened?!! Will not be dining there again!!! And it was my first again after covid. Really disappointed!!!

The spur is ok not what it used to be. Service in general in South Africa is not great. Portions are smaller for more money. It is what it is.

Food is generally good but the service was excellent.

Coming from Cae Town, I expected better service at this Spur. The service was extremely slow and some of our orders was just forgotten. It took forever for our food to get to our table.

Unfortunately I received no service at all. I was their on Saturday 17 August. I went to the Spur with my 2 little girls. Arrived and was handed a menu, that was it. I had to ask a waiter to take my order, I then had to remind them 3 times about my food. Eventually the girls food came and then I waited for mine. They finished their meal and I was still waiting. I will admit that the breakfast was good.

Always nice to come and have a quick bite and draught alone or with company even the young ones. I love how its so spacious giving one many options for where to sit. Its my go to down place for real😁✌️

Not the fastest service, but great atmosphere and big selection in the menu. There is something for everyone, even the kids have a play den. They also offer a reward point system with there Spur family cards. A real family place.

Aweful experience, on Saturday 110720 service had standard, but the chicken snitzel were old, and had a horrible taste, we actually spent R600, came all the way from Gordonsbay in Strand to visit my mom in law at the old age home, took her out for lunch and she said its the worst chicken snitzel she ever had, they had no coke light, tab, or coke zero in tins either, im extremely disappointed, horrible experience...

Not a good experience today. The waitress seemed to be annoyed that I only ordered a milkshake and chips. Didnt even attempt to be pleasant. The reheated chips didnt improve the situation.

Total disappointment. Ordered a Full portion nachos and received half a portion. Was told it was the full size. Table next to me ordered half portion and it was the same size as my full portion. But they still charged me for full portion.Hope the R30 - R40 was worth losing a customer. I wont return to this spur again. Bad management........!!!

The Waiter definitely needs training. Couldnt tell us the specials for the day. Didnt even greet nor introduce herself.I found a piece of Plastic/whatever it was in my Food. Supervisor or whoever came to speak with me after a whole 15 minutes of waiting for this issue to be addressed, told me its the onion and dont know what it was.Really disappointed with this experience.

Family venue for whole family. Games and entertainment in the venue for young children. Also have child protection available so your child cannot leave without warning.
