The staff were welcoming, friendly, attentive and helpfull. What a lovely start so early in the morning at the beginning of a new week. Congratulations to management and staff for the shopping experience.

I usually go here just because its close to my work and convenient, but nowadays the majority of the store is filled with staff members with trolleys doing the 60-app shopping.. its rather crowded on busy days because apart from a lot more clients, you struggle to enter the shop because of all the 60-trollies at the one entrance.

Supervisor not wearing there mask correctly, asked twice to please cover her mouth and nose properly only person that responded was the cashier.

I love Checkers Van der Lingen! I just wish theyd add a sushi bar.

Well stocked

Small but convenient. Does not have all items usually found in Checkers supermarket but great for quick shopping. Open 7 days a week 8am till 8pm even public holidays.

Nice place to shop. Not too big or too small. Availability of stock is good and prices not enflated. But the deli counter where they serve pies and cake has the worst service Ive experienced. After being see through to all the staff for practically seven minutes I called it off and decided not to get muffins for breakfast/brunch

Yesterday I bought chicken and it was dry and crusty, today I bought an apple and it was brown and rotten insideI had to throw the whole apple away.

Bad ladies and gentlemen. Holding on for 5 min and 35 seconds. Still had no answer to my challenge. Mr or Mrs manager where the heck are you when your staff is looking for you and worse where were the controllers. Going to the store now....lets see what happens.

I like there specials, but the cashiers like taking there time as if making people wait gives them a thrill. Very slow checkout and very slow lotto line.

At lunch time a bought a pasta meal with ham and mushrooms, that was very tasteless and tasted half cooked. Made me feel not well.

Very convenient to shop at and close to the gym for a quick run in. My only concern is that theres rarely someone manning the fruit weigh section. They should get a scale at the till.

Not very clean. The ready made food is way below standard. Sometimes the ready made food is off.

This shop rips people off!!! Make sure you check everything you buy (especially things that are one sale) as I have been told on multiple occasions that assorted doesnt mean all of the types of that product. Also have been told that only the items shown on the picture in the special pamphlet are on sale (even though the item says assorted). Almost all the fruit and veg is incorrectly marked or the products are placed by incorrect prices for something else. Wines are also incorrectly priced and by quite a big margin, so in short, make sure to check the prices at the till or dont shop here, rather go to the other Checkers in town and save yourself a fight.

Ample parking space at the back. Almost every grocery item available. Flowers as well!!Trading hours till 8. Money Market services available!

The only problem here is that they do not stock items that sell out fast. They really need to up there game here

Great place to get you daily necessities and theyre open till 8pm which helps if youre a working person

Another Checkers, located in central Paarl. Parking is quite convenient, with a ticket system for post paid parking. I do believe the first hour of parking is free though.

The so-called specials are good, but are sometimes not listed as such at the cash register, you just have to keep an eye on your slip.

I complained to management about delivery trucks 3 to 5 times malherbestraats wearing ability for Mr Williams to call traffic he would send someone after I drove a truck waiting for checkers for two hours now Im going to block all your trucks now

At the counter where you book tickets and play lottery. Very slowly. Sometimes just one person. So many times I ask you brand products. Many times there are no prices or the labels are on top of each other. The till 10 or less is either closed or there is only one that works. I drive to Wellington to go shopping these days. There are sometimes open more tills. Make all open especially peak periods.

Very good service every dear department especially with vegetables because I love my tomatoes thank you Checkers for your excellent service and staff
