Was ok. Need to check prices when paying for discounted items (checkers card), so back and forth for right prices

Checkers paarl north is the 2nd worse place to shop in Paarl. Many times stock is low or the dont have stock or the vegetables are bad. Sometimes they dont even have ice. This shop service a big community and at their busiest times they have 3 tills open. Numerous people has complained but nothing gets done.I drive 10km further to rather buy ftom a decent shop.

Worst deli u can waste your money on.. everything is salty whatever you buy and on top of that the service is the worst! I will still shop there as the service in the other departments are quite up to standard.. just avoid the deli, Ive been buying there a few times now and same result everytime! Very disappointing!

Sorry but working in Stellenbosch and having 2 days in Paarl is like day and night.I didn’t get asked to produce my saver card , which is a routine in Stellenbosch.I ask the cashier and she actually replied that she did...Very badSpeed checkout, first on the left!Thanks

Super efficient and effective, friendly very helpful staff

This shop on Thursday late afternoon was understandably extremely full. Yes there were regular announcements made to keep a safe distance. However, the amount of customers in the shop made this impossible. Also there was obviously a problem at the till points - well at least in the 3 queues I tried. Nothing was said or shared wrt this. Customers were shoving and pressing past one another to get from one isle to the next. There were apparently 4 managers on duty at this time. 4. No-one gave guidance or assistance or direction. Shame on you!!!!

Perfect supermarket to visit for all your needs. Hot food is great but the salads is not always that fresh. Good meat selection and I found the veggies to be fresh

This is in my opinion the best Checkers branch in Paarl, especially for normal food and groceries. They stay open until 20:00, which makes it convenient as well. Parking is a bit on the tight side, especially during late afternoon rush hour...

The store is not very large but amazingly has everything one needs. Good bakery, good prepared food section. I can recommend this store.

Very very nice I would rate them the best in the cape winelands... the shop is always clean there is always fresh food and thankfully they have enough staff at the tills... ill give them 10/10... ps.try the coffee😉

I love shopping at Checkers North.I have experience that the ladies working as cashiers & ladies serving behind counters ( deli & bakery) are always not so keen to help you therefore they do not greet or even give a smile.....sometimes you have to wait up to 10 minutes at deli or bakery for help.Otherswise I love shopping there its a clean en well looked after shop.

I shop there almost daily. Good service and shelves are always full. Parking is sometimes not enough.

Cashier was very friendly. I am short and battle to get stuff from the top shelves like the sasko wheat rich selfraising flour. Must always ask someone to help me. In general I enjoy shopping at Checkers Northern Paarl

So different to other Checkers store. The ambiance of the old building is pretty cool.

Well appointed, convenient for residents of Northern Paarl.

Their service are very spotty. Some days when you visit, all the cashiers and bakery staff would be friendly, then just the next day not at all. Last visit I bought breadrolls but the woman behind the counter was so rude, making it a very unpleasant experience. The cashiers friendly manner made up for it though.

Bad services and products are not always fresh. Also cant get the same products in store everytime.
