I use to have a pleasant experience at this branch, but that has changed considerably over the last 6 months. The amount of times I got into my car and drove to this bank just to be told we are offline or there is no teller available to help you now, because they are collecting money is becoming unacceptable. I cannot believe a branch in the Paarl Mall has an ATM that cannot accept cash deposits, no, they force you to pay higher banking fees when depositing on the inside, BUT then again many times in this instance they tell you there is no one to assist with cash deposits currently. What is even worse is that their staff at the door are extremely poorly trained in dealing with customers and their questions or needs in situations where the bank is unable to assist their customers in the most basic of banking needs. I recommend training in human relations, how to speak to customers and mostly that management keep the person at the door more informed on what time delays are expected so that he or she can convey it to customers. The answer I dont know with a casual shrug off the shoulders will simply not do anymore. I wonder if we will see the same steady decline in customer care now that Capitec is growing larger like we have seen in some other major players in the banking game. Maybe low banking cost will not be a sufficient reason enough to keep once business at Capitec Bank in the future, but also more efficient staff and branches.

Blue eyed boy better watch how he speaks to customers. Next time it wont be a review... Next time it wil be head office.
