I really enjoyed my late lunch/early dinner as I had a long day at work and the food assisted a lot. I had hake and chips which is one of my favorite at Spur.

Friendly staff and management. We from Cape town but the manager made us feel at home and received excellent service

Spacious restaurant with friendly, fast service. I ordered a full portion of spicy nachos. Always a surprise discovering just how tasty, locally grown, Oudtshoorn tomatoes are.

The presentation was on point, their dishes looks awesome... The food was amazing... And my 10th year anniversary was topped with awesome desert and wonderful atmosphere!!

I know it was Covid but I missed all the young waiters singing happy birthday.

I think the ample portion of chips of the past diminished somewhat. Mentioned it to the waiter as well.....

Saturday afternoon went for lunch with my sister.firstly covid regulations thumps up there l.taking down of info on costumers not so much, waiter was not friendly at all didnt introduce himself didnt communicate properly with his costumers wasnt at ease.only checked once,had to ask for condiments which isnt supposed to be,management didnt bother to check, staff not wearing their masks the right way, shop wasnt busy at all.food was up to standard, but the service was bad.you never know when to expect a mystery dinner...always serve your best.

Excellent service from our waitress. Our food arrived very quickly and was great. The orders were all on point with no mix ups. The venue was quiet but nice and they even changed the TV channel for us when we asked. The venue has a wheelchair friendly entrance however the bathrooms are not accessible as there is a high step. There is limited free parking right in front of the building.

One of the best breakfasts i have had.Everything 10/10. Just remember to serve toast that is not burnt next time

Kids love Spur and this one in the heart of Oudtshoorn is no different.Service was great, food was as it should be and the facilities were okay.We did drive past it the first time but on retracing our steps we found it.

Despite being quiet. Freindliness all over. The waiter Michael was fast and efficient. Oudshoorn needs our tourism help.

Crockery not so clean, starter taste awful, drinks and main very late, maybe the guy serving us was new but i did not enjoy and will not go there again. Its not the first time i get poor service in that place, i think they must go to spur george to see how to serve customers

My steak was burnt and the waiter was no where to be found.

Very welcoming manager and staff even at 11h00 at night. Good food at a special price. The chips were actually freshly made and warm - which you dont get anymore. Nice and clean.

I visited this spur on sunday afternoon....me and my wife....we had to look for our own table,no one acknowledged us at the entrance..a lady was walking behind us , and when we got seated..she just put down the menu..did not even greet and left us...we then waited about 15min...no one came to us..eventually a young guy came to us ,asked: you want to drink something ? Not even hello !!!! Goodness..i just got up and left..no one even tried to stopped us...if it was so important to lose a customer! very very bad experience..i went down the road to spend my money at : the black swan...

Enjoyable supper. Ribs was well prepared. quiet Spur. Veggies was a bit cold when it arrived at our table. Waitrons helpful.

The waiter was very good at his job, however my experience was doomed by the fact that a manager do not set an example for his staff. He clearly discriminate against certain guests. He ask the table next to us and table inside the smoking room next to us as well if they are good. He literally skipped us, it is not good hospitality as a manager to have selective customers especially if it is your own race group. This actually degraded my experience at Spur. I am in the hospitality industry and this is not on.

Our breakfast smelled like gas. We also had to eat as fast as we can as there was a lot of starring. We felt so uncomfortable

Food and service was good. Im always impressed when I ask for no onion rings and I get extra chips. I like Spur, because you always know what you are getting, but this Spur seems to take extra pride in their food. Like marshmellows on my milkshake and chocolate sauce on my brownie.

Very convenient and friendly atmosphere for the trusty Spur meal. Easy location being right on the main road going through oudtshoorn. Ordered the new Portuguese steak and it was great

Still can dine there even if theres loadshedding but the aircons will be off so they can keep lights and basics on during loadsheds (minor limitations on what you can pick during loadsheds too). Good service and food.We have experianced that if you sit close to the smoking section, even though the door is closed, tou still smell the smoke coming from there. Unfortunately this is off putting. Atlease the managers where more than willing to move us to another table.

We were an extended family of 14. The service was outstanding, and meal superb. The 14 meals were all on our two tables virtually at the same time.

Was New Years day and the staff were happy to be at work! Amazing. Food was good and the service quick.
