As the base camp for our amazing 4 day trip of rafting down the Orange River, this was an amazing and spectacular trip. The Guides were phenomenal and really made the whole experience one to never forget.A definite must do whether youre an adventurist, tourist or just wanting a week full of fun and excitement. Oh and a bonus was getting to experience a full on sand sand storm. Woo Hoo 😁

Upon arrival which was late in the evening, Adelaines friendly nature was such a balm for the weary travellers and kept checking if we are sorted. Adelaine takes good care of her customers and make them feel right at home. Such a great place to just be, her helper Markus is a joy and so informative. He is such a gem and a compliment to the place. We loved the dogs, each with their own funny ways. Didnt stay long enough to do the river rafting but will be returning. Do visit at least once to experience the raw outdoors and tranquility. Thank you for a grand time.

Perfectly located along the Orange River at Onseepkans. Pitched our tent in 41 degrees. The camp is situated next to the Onseepkans Border Post (closed for a while already). We enjoyed a river rafting trip (highly recommended), the cleanliness of the facilities, the friendliness of the owners and staff, swimming in the river (be careful of the currents), the quiver tree forest (on the way to camp), vervet monkeys, the farms along the river, the view of mountains on the Namibian side, fly-fishing, the abundance of birds, the sunrises and sunsets, and a very short hike to enjoy a 360 view of the area. I can only make a recommendation to visit Red Rock River Camp based on my own experience. A gem!

A total escape. Beautifully shaded trees and soft grass right next to such a gorgeous part of the Orange River. Views to kill. Surrounded by a small hill that adds to the character. On this camp I saw the most beautiful moon and stars. Zero pollution so all you see if stars shining. The bar is fantastic! The hosts are incredible, service is great, next level. Beautiful nice artistic touches all around the campsite. MTN signal works really well so could upload a few photos. Interesting dogs that herd a few goats on the property, super cute!Such a wonderful experience and the ultimate in getaways. It was the base camp for our wonderful canoeing trip with Graviy Tours.

Maybe because we were the only ones camping. R150 per person pd. We didnt do rafting or using the gas stove. I would say for an overnight in our own tent, cleaning the camp where the monkeys made a mess with toilet paper... Too expensive.

Very nice location right on the Orange River. Overall, however, seems to be a lot of abandoned and untidy. The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities and the small kitchen deserves no star!
