Great affordable place to stay and you can actually walk around explore, with various farm animals all around and a few dams you can relax and spend the day at. The accommodation is quaint warm in winter thanks to sufficient heating options. Heated floors, electric blanket and a fire place. I highly recommend as a place to stay if you are visiting the Nottingham road area

One of the best spots in KZN! Amazing views as far as the eye can see and you can rely on all the restaurants as they consistently turn out delicious meals (for even the fussiest eater).

I love this farm based restaurant, from decor, food, service, cattle --- everything!! They also brew their own craft beers and gin.

What a breath taking place, was at a colleagues wedding and we enjoyed every moment of the day. The atmosphere is clean, the wedding Chapel is situated on a hill and its a gorgeous Simi glass chapel. The wedding reception was down by the lake venue thats spacious with radaint lighting. Couldnt get enough of the beauty at this farm. There is a sense of peace and tranquility.

A fanatastic getaway venue, sent my parents here for their anniversary and they thoroughly enjoyed the accommodation and setting.Would been 5 stars if it wasnt for the completely misleading website pricing and the unwillingness to honour those prices. The R800 per night for self catering is actually R1100 per night and includes breakfast, this setup forces you into a package deal with Blueberry Cafe (this may be a contravention of the consumer protection act). If you wanted to explore the numerous midlands breakfast spots you would have to sacrifice that R300 benefit. The manager could also improve their ability to respond to emails. It shouldnt take 3 days of email exchanges and reminder to book an available cottage.

Looks like a nice place on arrival, but my Fiance and I had gone to the Blueberry cafe in the first week of April 2021 on the property and we were rushed to eat our food and leave the table because they had other people waiting...4 weeks prior to our visit to Blueberry Cafe I had sent Netherwood an email regarding our wedding. No response... I adressed the matter when we were at the Cafe and the manager assured me Id receive a response within 3 days... Im still waiting... We had been told that they do not do wedding less than 150 people but if we wanted to we could use the Brewery side of the restaurant as a venue... it was a small cramped place that looked as if it no atmosphere other than Beer and Meat... we did not feel welcome there at all, very disappointing for the amount of money you pay as well as the general service of management for both the Cafe and the Wedding side of things. The Cattle are cool but the guest/customer relations is shockingly bad. We will definitely not be going back...

Accessibility to the Chapel was not planned or thought out very well for those with mobility challenges ... nor was there any delegated parking area or consideration made for the blind. The Chapel itself is very well positioned with majestic scenery ... the Reception Hall is also very beautiful.

I visited this venue for a wedding. It was unbelievably beautiful and one of the best events I’ve ever attended. If you’re thinking about having any function here, do it! (But make sure the weather is good!).

The wedding venue is off the main road to Nottingham. It follows a dirt road for about 3.5km. Beautiful scenery on the way down including a Dam on the left. Very well indicated by signs. Its worth them drive to the stunning chapel and reception.

The venue for my first borns wedding, lots of happy memories. Expensive but worth every cent.
