This is a must see and visit location for the old world charm of a brewery/pub with a cosy fire roaring in the background as you indulge in a craft beer or gin. Alan our bartender was amazing. Take a drive down to the lake on the property, you will thank me later.

This is one of the great, old breweries in South Africa. The Beer is great and there is also a nice shop that has lots of beer related stuff. One can also chillax and sit outside and try the beer with a few bar snacks.

This is an absolutely beautiful place.Super relaxed atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. There were 2 lakes with ducks. The sun was out and the birds were singing, they have beer on tap and gin which I found quite wonderful.Drinks are beautifully presented and garnished and taste out of this world. They have a variety of locally brewed beers which is fantastic as well as gin, there are also bottles of this you can buy. Food is also available. The outdoor seating creates such a vibrant and relaxing atmosphere.Id definitely recommend this place for beer and gin lovers.

Not a fan of the beer. There is brewery and a pub you can have a drink at. Not a vegetarian friendly place. However, the lake area is quite scenic. Sadly, they do not allow picnics.

My favourite brewery, pickled pig porter the best beer ever! The other choices are also very good, and they also have craft gin for my wife. Go to the Rawdons hotel pub next door for a proper lunch and more beer. 👏👏

Nice outing but expected a bit more from a brewery tour. Insight on the beers and brewing motivations behind each beer would be nice to illustrate

Beer is 5 stars but the snack basket could do with some love. The pastry on the chili poppers, spring rolls and samoosas was all too thick, and a little uncooked on the inside. They were also oven baked with no oil, not something I am looking for in a beer snack. Deep fried is the only way.

A very cool atmosphere to have a beer. I am a huge fan of their brews, and have had them at shops in Durban but never from the source. The food was simple, affordable and tasty. The staff were kind and accommodating, and Douglas (one of the waiters) is a legend of the midlands. Highly recommend this as a place to sit outside and enjoy a beer, or sit down for a relaxing lunch.
