Its a good shop but there arent many people to help out. I wandered around before I saw someone to help me. But when I did they did a great job

I dont know if this store is short stuffed or they blatantly just dont prioritize on customer service... 😏 Its often frustrating to go buy from this store because one often has to scream at the top of their lungs to get assistance from the workers there. They lack team work: the admin/finance/quotation team never tries to assist customers when the sales assistants arent enough on the floor. Theyll even tell you they arent sales assistants when you turn to them for help. The last time I was there I was assisted by a guy already assisting 2 other people.

This is the most incompetent store ever. By an incompetent store I mean that the staff is incompetent, their systems are so slow and always malfunction.During one of my visits, I went there to buy a 50L JoJo tank. The first guy told me that the they dont have the item. I checked the item on my phone, I went to them and showed them that according to the internet you guys have this item on stock. One of the staff members searched for it and found it. The guy who was supposed to process the payment said that he cant find the item on the system and that what I have with me is a 90L tank. They then suggested that I take the tank clearly look way smaller than a 50L. They insisted that I take the smaller tank that they claimed its a 50L tank. Its only when I asked them if they think two 25L drums of water can fit into that small tank that they realised that what they were saying didnt make sense at all. Well, somehow they manage to get the item into the system and it was processed. That whole encounter took close to 1 hour.On the second visit I want them to buy some items but just when I was about to leave having already paid everything, the machine that produces the receipt jammed and it took them close to 30 minutes to find a solution for that and I couldnt leave without the receipt.On the recent visit, I went there to buy some items that included an Impact drill, nails and drill bits. Just when I was paying with my cheque card, the system indicated that my card was declining. That was very strange because I knew that my bank balance was okay. The amount displayed that it had went through on my banking app of which I showed them. They then told me that I should come the following day and the amount will bounce back into my account. The next day I went there to show them that no amount had bounced back. They told me to get the bank statement and I went home to print it. I came back with the bank statement and they said that they cant help me on the weekend because the head office is closed. So Im like if they knew that they couldnt assist me on the weekend, why did they tell me to get the bank statement and come back? They shouldve just told me to come back on Monday with the bank statement. So when the lady in charge tells me that the head office is closed, she starts asking the till-lady if the other guy who had the same problem came back and the till-lady says no. That was funny because before my card declined, there was a guy who wanted his money because he had used a credit card and something went wrong. Again, it was the stores fault because they told him to come back later and gave him some kind of a receipt.I ended up buying the items using my wifes card. I like this store but I cant risk being financially defrauded. What a waste of petrol, what a waste of time and what a waste of breath.

Its a good place to visit. Its not an overcrowded place and I like their strictness in as far as masks are concerned. Most popular places are the liquor store, shoprite and builders hardware. Shoprite is more cleaner than expected and the Fruitland vegetables are fresher although cooked food is the usual 2 out of 10 shoprite rated. The yard is clean and well maintained. Atms are galore and well spaced and guarded - an interesting place to go by.

For a builder specific store, Builders Kwathema is perfect. Unfortunately I was looking for arts and crafts style products and they do not supply anything in that range. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I like builders and the service is always satisfying, but the one in kwa-thema is disgusting. Poor service is under statement.
