Great pub worth the money.

One of Nigels best restaurants, the best food with a very friendle service and everything is always fast. The music puts an atmosphere in the place that makes you feel at home

Good local pub. Pub grub at a good quality and price. Well stocked bar. DJ and live band Fridays. Good party.

I have been several times and tried various items on the menu, all of which have been fairly good. The standout item is the eisbein, which was delicious - although almost doubled in price since I was there a few months ago. Today we tried something different and were sorely disappointed. The burgers were swimming in tasteless white sauce that made the rolls soggy. The chips were very fatty. The steak was cooked on a grill that gave it an unpleasant taste. The bar is pleasant enough, as are the staff.

Not honest and realy expencive

Good spot. Finally back after a year. Beer is still cold!! Eisbein is really good and I can recomend. Keep an eye out for live performances, usually over weekends. Barladys are friendly and provides good service. For a local spot it is a good stop over. Also some one arm bandits to cure the gambling urge.

One of those hidden gems - meet the locals, friendly staff, good conversations, cold beers, Clean Ladies/Gents rooms, the ambiance is casual & kind of laid back during the day, a peoples place, dont think of leaving after 1 or 2 pints, your mind will refuse......and beside all that, the food makes this trip/ outing complete. The mussels for starter, you might find a dozen in that pot and its Fresh, the best compared to commercial seafood restaurants !!!!.......out here in a small town ??? Beef schnitzel & Crumbed Pork lions, with cheese and mushroom sauce, Ill do a detour to go there again in the future.Went back the next day to see if it was a ones off, but NO the more you dive into that menu, the better it gets - every ingidiant they use is Fresh !!!!! The parking outside is managed by cctv surveillance and car guards. The cost estimate is - ZAR 400.00, for 2 people having starters / main course and a lot of cold ones...brilliant deal !!!!!
