Relative good for an overnight stay... The place was absolutely clean. Few things need fixing and revamping. The place has potential.

But there’s absolutely no need for you to be rude and it’s wasn’t my fault that y’all wifi wasn’t working. You can’t make customers in charge of your mistakesYou should take accountability for it

I didnt even have a reservation but when I called, I received great service and was told to come by as there were available rooms. Needless to say me and my fiance were very impressed with our room, from the cleanliness to being provided with everything we needed to make our stay pleasant. The clean fragranced towels are a great touch. Will definetly return!!!!!!!!

My experiences at Dudsk are remarkably amazing.it is a place where one can call home away from home. The staff is so friendly and welcoming as well, their rooms are always clean and calming. So far Dudsk is the place I can even recommend to my friends due to its neatness....

Not bad, not great. We stayed one night to try it out as our usual place was fully booked for that night. The reception lady was very rude and unwelcoming. Looked confused and unaware of the booking that we reserved via booking.com. Breakfast needs to be improved. There were no options to choose from. The WiFi is terrible. I could not do my work. No remote for DSTv/TV to change channels.

Although the rooms are neat, the hosts are cold and unfriendly, and turned us away to go draw cash first before we can get a room..at 10h30 at night! its a bit harsh and unprofessional. They need a card machine. They are also skimpy on the coffees and sugars in the rooms and wont give extra when asked. I will in future avoid Dudsk. I am also advising all my regular business associates to do the same.

Its a normal guest house rooms clean and smart towels also clean. However, they need some improvement for the best competition.

Clean, neat, comfy, cosey & warm with friendly hosts. Overall it was a pleasant stay. Great value!!

Rooms are tiny, cant even close the bathroom door. Host was rude and uninformative didnt seem intrested in anything. Could even manage a smile to greet us. Would only stay here again if there was seriously nothing else.

Staff was very helpful,but they need to organize security at the gate especially at night.and they dont have any night staff .at least one should do

I was really impressed with the staff and how wonderfully neat the place was. The rooms are clean and comfortable , Value for money indeed.Id recommend it to any one wanting a place to stay in Newcastle.

The only problem with this place is that the walls are not sound proof. We could barely sleep because the people next door were just so loud

DO NOT STAY HERE! NOT WORTH IT!The first impression of the place was not great. We arrived at the given address, only to have staff treat us like we were an inconvenience to them.Eventually when someone decided to help us, they told us we were at the wrong address and were suppose to go to a sister accommodation address (after a four and a half hour drive, to do more driving...)Anyway, when we got to this new address, no one was there or remotely interested in letting us in. So we had to wait another 30mins for someone to let is in.When we eventually got in. The staff seemed very confused as to why we were there. Another 30mins trying to explain that we are guests with them.When we finally got into our rooms. We were left to deal with an okay, cleanish room and a seriously unhealthy, tile missing and not so clean bathroom.Once we worked around all this. We had to deal with very loud neighbours (as its a single brick wall between you and the next room) Also, you notice every person who showers, as it sounds like a earthquakes through the paper thin walls.DO NOT STAY THERE.

Very nice next time I am at Newcastle it is the place for me.

Dudsk B & B in Newcastle is a nice little place to spend your weekend away from home as we did.The accommodation itself was good , the bed was comfortable, the shower & toilet were neat & tidy.Our reason to be in Newcastle was to attempt our 1st ultra marathon walk (Memel to Newcastle) on womens day. It was a truly memorable occasion as we completed the event , very tired and weary.Dudsk B & B ,is located in a residential area just a few kilometres from Newcastle town. Obtaining good food is not difficult as the usual restaurants & retail outlets can be found here.We checked out around 10h00 am on Saturday and made out way back home to Gauteng ,having accomplished our mission , but not without muscle aches and an ankle sprain , but rest assured , I will survive but let it be known, it was certainly not easy.My sincere compliments goes out to the organisers of the event ( Vlam panel beaters & KRM plastics) , the traffic police , the ER 24 personnel and people at watering holes .These people were fantastic.

Comfortable self-contained venue for a business trip with a fridge and microwave.

Affordable Accommodation for a single night stay when travelling. Has Aircon, DSTV, Fridge, Microwave and Kettle too which makes this place super worth it. Just carry your own towels coz I wasnt happy with the cleanliness of the owes provided.

Poor reception, room with nice furniture, but cracks on the walls, awful finishings, no curtain or door at shower and poor Wi-Fi signal. Location also is not fine. Enough to overnight, but dont expect more than it.

Broken doors, broken dirty showers, no desk in rooms, unpolite staff. Satellite has SABC channels only. WiFi can signals only in rooms close to reseption, the rest have 1 bar or nothing. No aircondition (Newcastle is VERY HOT) Definitely wont recommend. Service has definitely regressed since last time!
