A cosy restaurant with delicious food and a good vibe.

We chose a table inside because the outside was very noisy as there was rugby on the big screen and fans were cheering...The service was good and the food hearty and comforting. For mains we had meals from the low carb options and it was really tasty. For dessert I had the low carb cheesecake and it was yummy...

Came for dinner and i must say, quality service is rendered! Food was well done as per instructions...definitely coming back for your chocolate brownie 🤗🤗🤗

It was our first time visiting this restaurant. The service is excellent and the food is fantastic value for money. You guys will definitely see us again. Love the Vegan options. Livingston (I think that is his name) was our waiter and he was very polite and friendly.

Good afternoon, me and my wife Had the best service and Food, I will never forget the food was from the best best best quality.

I feel sorry for the kitchen and waiter staff. They were packed for mothers day. Unusually so, because during lockdown just a few tables were occupied. Seems like they kept the same amount of staff as during lockdown. Waited almost 25 mins for drinks then and hour for food which was wrong and not up to the normal colcacchio standard.

Need to upgrade standard, from welcoming guests and food taste.But its quiet. Just saw flies around while eating, oh dear. But yeah its africa.

Really cozy atmosphere & the food is even better

Probably the worst spaghetti I have ever had. Spaghetti under cooked, served Luke warm with absolutely no flavor! Unfortunately my wife’s version of dinner was the same and tasted as it was a frozen and warmed up in the microwave. The salad for 2 was really small and closer to a salad for 1.My boys pizza was good so yes pizza is the way to go at this restaurant. His dessert of chocolate pizza also very good.value for money - poor. For R1000 for 4 people I can recommend so many better restaurants. Surprisingly the restaurant was full. But with food of this quality it might not be the case in 6 months time. We won’t be coming back!Reported our experience to the manager and it was “sorry I just work here but I hope you come back”.If so go here best stick to the pizza! For pasta best go to Woolies - tastes better and cheaper!

Had an incredible dinner at ColCacchio Silverstar!! The pizzas were amazing (some of the best weve had), the vibe was great and the service was excellent!! We had a table outside, and had a fantastic time dining at ColCacchio. We will definitely be returning!!

Ive been here a couple of times and it was great, especially when you sit in. But am quite disappointed in the take away pizzas we got tonight. Almost no toppings, 4pieces of butternut (tiny) and 2 pieces on avo on 1 pizza.

A lovely mealColCacchio is situated on the piazza area, a nice change from the restaurants in the casino area.The menu offers a vast variety of options, including some carb-conscious meals, including cauliflower-based pizzaI had a chicken dish (on zucchini) and it was a delicious meal. The portion is fairly small for the price, so take that into consideration if you arrive hungry.Service is quick, efficient and friendly.Overall a great option at Silverstar

Great service and food. Vibe was awesome. so refreshing to see a manager who values her staff. Elsa is an asset to the company. she was friendly and attentive. By just watching her you can see she has the respect of her staff who are all smiling. Thank you colcacchio and especially Elsa for making us feel so welcomed.

Waited 20min for a Coke Zero and a cappuccino, waited 45min for our starter and then waited another 20min for our mains. After waiting another 25min for our dessert we deciced to leave and ask for a takeaway, we then proceeded to wait 15min for our dessert and bill. The waiter came back, still no dessert or bill. Extremely poor service on such a quiet night.

The experience started out very well.Service started great. Had to wait a while for the food but didnt mind because it was really worth itMy husband had the morituri pizza (R145) and I had the smokey babe (R165). We shared out pizzas and I had half a pizza left (2 pieces of each pizza) left and of course asked for take awayAnother lady (who I assume was the hostest or manager) came over and said there was an accident in the kitchen. Our poor waitress collided with another waitress. She offered a new pizza as they didnt know if some glass got in my food. She said shell send our waitress over to take my order and leftA bit later our waitress came to take my order and I asked if I can just get half a pizza of one of the pizzas I had (since they do half and half) instead of one small one (which isnt worth a third of the smokey babe in value). Our waitress said shell have to make sure but will come back to let me knowA while after that the hostest/manager came back with pizza in hand saying that she went ahead and made me a new pizza - at that point I havent even ordered a pizza because we were still waiting on our waitressOpened the box and it was a small pizza under a mountain of mushrooms. I dont eat mushrooms at all.In the end I was eventually able to swap the pizza out for a small bacon, avo and feta pizza which doesnt make up the value of what we lost at allSo disappointed. It was our first time there. It started out so well and ended on such a sour note just because of lack of communication.Wont be going back

It was awful. Service was poor. We waited 15 minutes to order our first drinks. The orders were wrong. The waiter acted like she didnt want to be there and the manager could care less. The food took way too long and was cold when it got to us. The taste was okay, we were really hungry so yeah... Not to forget that our table was not cleared. Never going back.

My overall experience was bad. I ordered the Bolognaise pasta, it was tasteless and watery! The worst Ive ever had after waiting 1 hour for it. I will not return

Lovely evening while waiting for our movies last night, good food, good timeous service from our waiter. The manageress spoilt it all by being deliberately hurtful. She greeted tables at the outside seating and deliberately passed our table and the one next to us making a bee line for tables on the other side. Very unnecessary for me to have to explain to my 13yr old daughter why this still happens in SA as she is the one who brought it to my attention just as the lady walked past us. Reported this to the waitress but no response till we left. Please can someone make sure it doesnt happen to others, bless you.

Great vibe, great food, great beer, and great location!I follow a plant-based diet and they use an awesome vegan cheese on their pizza for those who dont eat dairy etc - I really appreciate a restaurant that makes an effort to provide food for all types of diet.

Its always been my favorite restaurant and yesterday I went for lunch with my boyfriend and his sister and had the past with the tomato and prawns and I am extremely sick. The pasta was also bland, only good thing we enjoyed was the drinks

Went here for lunch and ordered the pollo pasta and for drinks we got the peach crusher with cranberry juice.first problem arose with the fact that the drinks didnt actually have any peach extract, it was just watered down cranberry juice with crushed ice(very sour). Secondly when the food arrived the bowls they came in were very dirty and the food was messy in terms of presentation, the pasta itself was bland and needed alot of help from the add-ons that were brought (chilli, garlic and parmesan). My companion ordered the pollo with penne but when she began to eat she found a disturbing amount of spaghetti in her food and no one at my table had ordered spaghetti, so she notified the server and they reported it to the manager who brought out a new plate, but the sauce on that plate was very thin. The upside is that the sever are very good and eager to helpoverall a very disappointing experience

Im not one to do review but i felt that i mustnt forget to give you a rating. I was at Colcacchio silverstar last week. There was a crying baby at the section towards the back. The manageress Alsa went to the table and saw the mother was struggling with the little one. She offered to take the little one so the mother could enjoy her meal. The baby was happy and even fell asleep in her arms. wow!We had good service and food took a little time but was good. I was just so impressed with the manageress. Thank you. We will be back.

At first glance the venue looks great, and the waiter was quite convincing at the door when we asked to view the menu. Plus going into summer now , it was a nice opportunity to sit outside during a beautiful evening sunset and just relax a bit, the other plus was the fact that you can share variations of pizzas as a half on half combo. But thats as far as it goes, it took very long just to bring us our drinks, so we missed the sundowner and then it took very long to bring our pizza which at its best was mediocre, no saucey base to bring out some flavour, and we never even got our garlic and chili mixes, so it was a little dry and not much to rave about, sorry but I think Ill give it a skip next time

I have been coming to Col’caccio Silverstar for the past 6 years , monthly .The service is great , the vibe and location outstanding . Being on the square allows for the outdoor feeling with us feeling safe while looked after by well organized waitrons . The food is on time , and the portions are a great size with fresh ingredients always . Great for families and for date night ! Thank you . I’ll be back ;)

Short: it is more a fast food pizza place than a traditional Italian restaurant. And only order pizza!Long:Service was really poor, went from too eager and taking plates while we were eating still to do slow it took 15min to get a credit card machine.I had the TAGLIATA which was so bland, even though the steak was cooked perfectly rare couldnt save it. My partner had a pizza and it was good and they did enjoy it.Desert was initially TIRAMISU but it was out of stock (though it still appeared on the bill so that caused more payment problems) so I had the AMISTOSO which was also so bland. My partner compared it to museli in texture and taste. My partner had the PANNA COTTA which was amazing.

This place has good food and good service, the only problem was getting weird looks from managers. Whether I am 5 or 17 or 35 years old at the end of I am a paying customer and I dont appreciate the looks my friends and I got.

Wouldnt recommend this restaurant. The service is super pathetic. I have walked out of this restaurant a total of 3 times because the waiters are too busy chatting. Tonight I walked out after waiting 15 minutes for a waiter to come and take our order. Yet again this has happened twice before. I walked straight past 4 waiters and none of them even asked whats wrong. This branch should close down.

Every time we have an issue with the bill and discounts. Last Friday it was advertised 20% discount Black Friday, SPESIAL. And we got R21. 00 of a R1400. 00 bill. Sad. Will never go here again
