This business is linked to organized crime that preys on foreign tourists. Do NOT hire a car from these crooks. On my way to return the vehicle in Umtata I was pulled over by a man who was dressed as a person with authority. He told me there was a covid situation at the airport and that I needed to verify my ID to enter the airport. I admit that I fell for the scam. My ATM cards were cloned. BUT, this man KNEW I was going to the airport. The ONLY way he could have known that was to have the tag number of the vehicle and he had to have been watching the highway for the car. The only source of that information would be THRIFTY. It was an organized crime and it involved an employee of Thrifty who provided the information to the person who scammed me.
