Great place for a short stay, the food on full board is excellent and the schedule they put you on is great. We only stayed for one night but wish wed stayed longer.Although with regards to the game driving I think 2 days would be enough as you do two trips per day for about 3 hours each so youre guaranteed to see 90% of the wildlife after 2 nights there.Not an issue. Just dont stay for too long and youll have the best short experience. Definitely 5 star worthy

This Kwena Lodge is in a class of its own. Its stunning and magnificent. The rooms are excellent and nicely designed.The swimming pool is on the lower side facing amazing valleys. I really like this place.

Gondwana is the best for a Big 5 experience, as a couple or with family. It is family-friendly, has easy access, is close to Cape Town, has 5 star accommodation, the best food and staff that are always helpful, friendly and professional. My 3rd visit has been as wonderful as my first.

Thanks for the great stay.Huts for 2 people big enough and in a nice location, very clean.Firewood was refilled in the evening and, if requested, the fireplace was also lit,During dinner, the bed was turned up and the electric blanket turned on, which was still very pleasant in winter / spring.The food was very good! ... and sufficient!The game drives ... are difficult to plan, on three trips we might have looked for elephants individually and at a great distance, hippopotamus, giraffes for a long time and we couldnt find lions despite the search. On the fourth trip, EVERYTHING came to us with children and in groups at a close distance in front of the camera lens ...The cars for the game drives were open and we were provided with fleecy rain ponchos and blankets.Great stay in a beautiful lodge!

Very very nice the food here always tastes good, nice pool. The houses all have good WiFi, fans, air conditioning, large kitchens and TVs. The safaris are all well managed and very nice you can see a lot of animals. Everything is very safe. The kwena Lodge is simply indescribable you live in individual huts that are luxuriously furnished directly in the nature park and in the evening is not picked up by the ranger nom not to be eaten by the lion or brought back to the room if you want to go to the restaurant. The staff is incredibly friendly, but you should always think about driving a normal, simple vehicle over the gravel road for 10 km, but it means torture. We had three safaris and they were all excellent the rangers are very friendly have great knowledge and take excellent care of you. The breakfast buffet is fine I found the dinner moderate.

We had a wonderful stay with very impressive safaris. Our guide Coolman was fantastic. He looked for the animals with us until we succeeded. The location is amazing, the food very good and the staff is very friendly.

Very sprawling Game Reserve that houses the Big 5 in addition to luxurious accommodations. The journey is via non-paved roads, but easily z. B. can be driven with a small car. If you arrive before 1pm you can even have a good lunch before the first game drive at 16h, morning game drives start around 6am. The guides go out of their way to see as many animals as possible, especially if you stay in Gondwana for several days. The quality of the accommodation is at a high level and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. If you choose full board, 2 safaris per day are included, with half board only the Afternoon Drive. Both lunch and dinner a la carte can be eaten, on a decent level. The audience is international as well as mostly German.

The perfect 5-star accommodation in the Gondwana Game Reserve! Perfect lodes with shower and bathtub and a fireplace for heating. The room service is perfect and the staff and rangers are very friendly and helpful!On the two safari tours we had seen everything from the lion / giraffe / hippo / buffalo / zebra / rhino etc.The dinner is excellent and cannot be beat, as is the breakfast!We stayed 2 nights which were perfectly adequate!
