Dr Tertius van Rooyen did my quadruple by-pass surgery in July 2017. He is a great person and surgeon. The way he treated/treats me and my wife was/is first class. He is a Christian and extremely humble. When I visited him just prior to my surgery this is what he said. God is the healer, Im his instrument. He explained all that could go wrong, the risks. He then asked me if I wished to proceed. I immediately said yes. The surgery went very well and the after care even better. Bayview hospital and their staff were also exceptional, especially the ICU and ward 7. Ive received an extension of life for which Im extremely grateful. P.S. I also need to commend the local cardiologists, Drs Lochner and Snyman. I highly recommend Drs Van Rooyen, Lochner and Snyman and Bayview hospital
