Always nice going to Hartenbos Spar. They normally have everything one needs like groceries and I love their fruit and vegetables. Always available and very fresh. Staff very friendly. Can recommend going there.

Best Spar in South Africa. Their fast foods especially their pancakes are absolutely tasty and very cheap. Cannot get better.

My favorite place for filled pancakes. Please dont change this recipe, nowhere else can you find pancakes this nice. The coffee is always excellent and the staff is super friendly and competent.

This us a very large shop that has virtually everything, even a little coffe bar. Very convenient as they until open until 8.pm. in the Cape people lose the sense of time as the sunset time is late and at 9.00pm its like 7.00pm in Gauteng. Lovely! This is real sort of continental and enjoyable.

Staff very reluctant to assist. Wanted to buy 7 x white bread, 4 x brown bread and 4 rolls. Cant pay at 10 or less items till, even if there is nobody else waiting to pay.

Great store, but the fresh produce isn’t in the store...?! We had to ask were to find it, on the other side of some bizarre located coffee sit down area. Never came across such a weird store layout, but hey, it works for them as the coffee spot seemed very popular. Store is clean and boasts a good butchery with a wide selection of meats. I noticed that they employed cashiers of all races, kudos to them! Well stocked.

Bab experience today. Park in a parking area in front of Spar. Customers just put there trollies next to where lady are selling boerewors. So the trollies that were left on the pavement area moved into my vehicle. So arrange for someone to look at your trollies being left ar your front door. Can I submit a claim for scratches or is it my problem?

Spar feels a bit cluttered and it feels like there isnt enough room to walk between the isles when it is busy. It is also not the cleanest. I avoid buying vegetables there because it is almost always over ripe. The service at the food section is slow but friendly and they pack up the foods way before closing time. The store has a wide variety of items though and the staff are friendly. Their Spar brand bread is always fresh. But if I can find what I am looking for at Pnp, I will rather go there.

Spar increase on prices. We are local and as soon as holliday starts we have to pay more. We support Spar every day now i see huge price increase at Spar
