Loved it, my mom and I went for our first ever massages here and we loved it. We made use of the September special.

The spa itself is fantastic however the booking process was a bit tedious sometimes at the call centre they forget to send you the invoice. Butte spa experience was worth. I think without their specials its a little over priced but if theyre running a promotion. Might as well tale advantage of it.

Safe packing and safe environment. I enjoy full day massage package with my wife. +/- R1000 on special. They always run lots of special. Full day package includes meals and alcohol. Neck, head and shoulder massage is too nice. I love it.

I dont feel that its worth paying 950 per person. The facilities need renovations. Some rooms we were in had torn pleather chairs and one room had just concrete floors. If you going to have just concrete floors at least sweep them. With our last treatment one therapist arrived 10 minutes late so the other therapists had to keep on leaving to call her. Also at the end of the treatments the womens bathroom is packed. No control in there and no social distancing

Clean, calmly and relaxing environment.Busy but not crowded; it wouldve been better with a few more changing rooms & showers.In general good reception & presentation.Massages professionally done by the well uniformed ladies. Delicious cookies, cake & refreshments served. Breakfast could be better, lunch satisfactory. A lovely space to spend (quality time) at with yourself or your special humans.👌💃😘

They make you fill out a form detailing any health issues but the therapists dont even ask about them before treating you. I was also nkt happy having a treatment in a room still under rennovations or construction.

What a beautiful serene getaway in the middle of the city. The therapists communicate very well. There is room for improvement on the food though.

Such a warm welcome from the front desk ladies...Had a perfect half day spa with my grandma and everything was as expected. I’ve been to a couple of spas but this one is the best I’ve been to. The massage therapists are all nice and do their job extremely well with a friendly smile, from foot massage, to full body massage I’ll give them 10 out of 10.Since I’m a foodie, wow had the best tasty roti chicken wrap.. big up to those who prepare their meals, I was impressed.Can’t wait to go back with my friends.

Covid-19 protocols are not followed. Staff and management have no regard for the safety of their customers. Avoid if you are vegetarian, meals are centered around people that consume meat products. Extremely noisy for a spa. Premises is dated and in desperate need of an upgrade.

I visited this Spa and this was my experience.The reception looked surprised when we walked in, as if she didnt know that we had an appointment. There was no warm welcome. We werent shown to the changing rooms, but straight to the massage room where we had to get undress.I, however, give 10 out of 10 for the therapists. They welcomed us, a nice smile, and professional service.I will go back, and hopefully see some improvements.

Amazing, did enjoy the morning

Fairly average experience. I went for the night time package. The ambience was great with the whole night vibe. Food was nice. They served creamy chicken in a roti (a weird combination) with some salads. I didnt have to pay for extra drinks which was great. The massages werent that great. They do a lot of pressing and not much technique with the massaging. I never really felt much relief. The head massage was the best in my opinion. Overall it was okay. I doubt I would go back though. They didnt do anything wrong, I just felt that they were lacking in the massage dept which is the whole point of this experience.

Poor experience on the 25th of August, also I had specified vegetarian with no egg, and there were no other options available for me. Also, some treatments were Poorly executed by the staff.

I love their night spa,it’s so affordable for couples. But it’s always fully booked so you need to book days before.

Looking at the other reviews, I can’t help but wonder if I was at the same place as everyone else. I really didn’t enjoy my time at the spa for these reasons:1. The pillows were dirty, the duvets as well.2. It was cold in the spa, I had to get socks3. The food was underwhelming4. The coffee was terribleThe people are friendly though.I feel Like I wasted my time and money… I wish I could upload photos so that I show u all what I am talking about.

Wow wow wow wow! Just so professional from the moment we walked into the room. So very well run. So organized and so friendly. And on top of that very very clean and the treatments were unreal. Alene was my therapist and she had hands on gold. Just the exact right pressure and never once hurt me. What an amazing half day we had! We will 100% be back!!

The central booking system via the call centre is pathetically disappointing. Weve been trying to do a booking and both me and partner tried calling, been transfering and holding on a call just to end up at the options again. Please dont say our call is important if we been wasting time whole day. Just sad that the call centre is putting one off from enjoying a good experience.

The half day package was great, but it seemed rushed, but it was a great experience.

They made my birthday special!

Worst customer service especially the centurion branch, they dont answer calls for assistance. I have been put through 3 times already and no one answered, wasting my airtime.......dont reccomend this spa to anyone, its like calling telkom customer service.

The service is lovely and the treatments are amazing. The spa has been updated to covid-19 protocols. The staff and guests wear masks at all times and there is pre-screening done when you arrive.

Unfortunately no stars from me today.After receiving a number of mails with your specials during the year and this week. Received a few today with your Festive specials - with only 10 spaces left. As we all know money is rather tight at the moment, but thought what the heck my partner and I needed some real good R + R and a great gift idea.I proceeded to call every phone number listed, each time waiting at least half an hour with no response. I then emailed also no response. Finally got a number for the Pivot and called. Hallelujah! someone answered. Did not quite get the name of the person who took my cell no and said they would call back. Which she did. I then tried to explain repeatedly I wanted to book full day for 2 on Friday and my cell number which I had just being called on. She then told me she would call me back. Well it is now 20.00pm I am still waiting for any kind of responseHowever, 10 out of 10 for your advertising.Had to give 1 star, site would not allow me to post no stars

Extremely disappointed with the Mangwanani @ The Pivot. Really was not a good experience. Went for a couples spa day. The day started with us waiting to start treatments. Ladies were rushing around shouting and making a noise highly disorganised.My friend found a cockroach in his drink & the champagne I had was really awful & gave me an instant headache. When approaching one of the ladies (dressed in black - but not the hostess she was lovely) she just ignored us all the time and was so uninterested and unprofessional.First 2 massages were fantastic however the last massage with the hot stones was a nighmare. They were so noisy and stones were literally thrown on the bed from a distance - one even hit my shoulder and I still have a burn mark. Also it was meant to be an hour long however they were only busy for 30 minutes. And simply just left.Not to mention the changing rooms and showers are absolutely SHOCKING and FILTHY. There were no towels. Showers hardly had soap or anything to wash the oils off with. Dirty robes all over the floors. So if you plan on visiting pack an entire toiletry bag. Also they didnt have any slipers or sandals that fit my friend so they gave him a super small pair. Eventually he walked around barefoot as he came in sneakers.We usually go to Soulstice and we thought of trying something new. But this will definitely be our last visit to Mangwanani.

What a lovely spa! I have never been to a spa but this was exactly how I imagined it to be! Drinks are served to you throughout your stay. We had an evening visit, so we got served a lovely dinner. The staff are very nice, the bathrooms are clean and the entire space is kept immaculate! Would recommend!

Had a spa day booked. Thoroughly enjoyed the day. 1 star removed as the head and shoulder lady was so rough even though we asked for medium massages. Had sore neck and shoulders for a couple of days.

No privacy in changing rooms treats messages wa not 45minutes

I have called every phone number listed for 2 days, each time waiting at least half an hour with no response. I then emailed also no response. Finally got a number for the Monti Casino (Palazzo) and they only take books from the hotel. Tried to book on line, what is advertised is not on the package list. Very frustrating. Mangwanani are clearly not keen to fix the phone line issues or answering call issues as this has been reported many times before

Was definitely expecting more from such a prestigious establishment...Not bad overall, but had much better at several smaller, less expensive massage parlours... Didnt help that my wife walked away with literal bruising from her medium requested massages...Quick suggestion as well; youre main feature is tranquility !! Let your therapists read the rules and apply them...When a clients phone rings during semi-private treatments, tell them to switch it off or leave... Dont allow them to answer and talk for 5 minutes while others are trying to relax...Also, when they talk and laugh, dont laugh with them and actually bloody-well comment and joke with them (this happened during our foot massage session in a closed room with another couple)...Thank you to the one and only therapist who actually said something, but was outnumbered and overruled... Ill stick with the smaller, more intimate and private establishments that truly give great service...

All in all the experience was good. The hospitality was great. However, what dimished the quality of the experience was the presentation of the food.

Do not like the ambiance, lacks serenity. Food choice is Roti roll or Roti roll. Treatments Excellent unfortunately not enough reason to go back. Will definitely try another branch.
