This place was a lot of fun and there was the freedom to have no hassle bang for your buck. Just walk in choose your gun and ammo walk off to the range have a shoot up. Then walk back and get another gun. Pay your bill and smile about the trip. Would I go again? Next time I’m visiting family I will certainly be going back.

Nice old school range, friendly staff.

At first staff appeared a little unfriendly, disinterested for three excited children. However turned out to be an absolutely wonderful experience. Staff fantastic. Went as it opened on a friday morning. Only people there.

A good selection of firearms and some bows for hire. Knowledgeable staff and great safety procedures. But the shooting rangge does not have the targets on rails, so have to wait for everyone to finish before you can check your target. Also the lighting was somewhat lacking so I found it hard to spot where the bullets were going.

The service from the Front of staff gentleman that hands out the weapons is absolutely pathetic, came on two separate occasions and received different prices for the same gun, he has absolutely no idea how to treat customers, Service inside in the shooting range was great

Very good selection of fire arms, awesome training range with good instructors who give personal attention. What I love is the archery range of theirs, no doubt I am an archery range, you have both indoors and outdoors archery range, you can never regret visiting this place.

Went for the outdoor archery range. Nice and laid back with plenty of targets. Heard the people shooting in the gun range and they seemed to be having a blast.

What a great vibe and great opportunity the guy who served us was really friendly and very helpful such a lekker oak and was willing to deal with WiFi hassles I had thanks for the amazing experience and great customer service will definitely be back really recommend these guys if you wanna un load a few rounds with some lekker guns.

I am a regular here. Good options for archery & shooting with live ammunitions. Safety is treated priority here and good instructors for both archery & gun range.

Best range in jhb been a family business since it opened

Been to Flora guns in Hillfox. Compared to that Gutheries has some major negatives1. Walk between gun counter to shooting range is a bit long and people carry weapons. During this long walk nobody escorts people holding guns and ammo whuch is a major safety risk in my opinion2. Shooting range has manual target changing. All shooting has to stop and then one needs to get inside and mnaually change targets.3. Guy inside who is supposed to assist is a real nut case. if i see the gun in your hand again before i tell you i will f*** you.. i mean great customer centricity???4. There is archery range also which is handled by Noel Robinson which is much better than shooting range. However its all out in sun and in summer its very dehydrating. Noel handles whole thing very professionally.My t
