Consistently one of the best restaurants in the area.Free tequilas come around every so often, a wide variety of Mexican drinks, food, a build-your-own-meal option and really well themed. A must-visit and one of my favourite Mexican restaurants.

Good place but the food suck when you order takeaway. I ordered takeaway nachos - they were dry nothing was in there accept for cheese ! Some time a few months before I ordered a Quesadilla added and paid for so many ingredients cheese barely existed. Worst of all I only noticed this around 22:29 when I was settling down trying to snack !

A fantastic Mexican experience... You can find lots of favorites like Nachos, Tacos, burritos and many other Mexican favorite dishes. Another great reason to go here is the wide variety of craft Tequila. The different flavors are a nice change and is also supported by a wide range of cocktails. A definite must try and would highly recommend as this is my 3rd visit here.

What a find! Would highly recommend for an authentic Mexican experience. The restaurant is colorful, beautiful and eccentric. Unique Mexican decor. Awesome selection of cocktails, tequila and Mexican beer. A really cool bar area. I would highly recommend their pulled pork nachos...yummy. Great idea for a fun night out...draught fridays, quiz night and happy hour Mondays to Thursday. Love love love it!

We were there for the Spring festival. Food was excellent but the waitress.was missing in action, probably because they were very busy. The music was so loud we could not talk and we were at the last table before the parking lot. Also a bit confused about the two girls in feathers. They looked like paid performers.but did not perform, just jiggled around on the dance floor with the customers. Considering the DJ played some really good belly dance hits I found it a bit disappointing

The service was very good and the coctails were amazing, the reason for the low stars ......I had the prawn tostada it is listed as a small plate yes but it is more than a R100 i assumed i would get more than three miniature prawns, portion sizes are definitely not worth the price, was tasty atleast. My partner had the clasic nachos with streaky backon, again the plate came and it looked like allot of food, but there was no salsa in the nachos the bacon was piled on the side and it was les than a scoop of bacon, the amount of guac was probably two table spoons for a whole bag of nacho chips this aswell was not worth the price if i wanted melted chees over chips i wouldhve made it at home for 50 rand not 150.Over all the food was tasty, but they need to work on their portioning or adjust prices...coctails was amazing, wil definitely go there for a drink again (but eat beforehand)

Im biased because Im from California which is next to Mexico 🇲🇽 so Im used to pretty good Mexican food. South Africa doesnt do good Mexican food period but this place is reasonably acceptable compared to other places Ive been here. The mince enchiladas are actually very tasty. The calamari poppers are full of this lightly spicy cheese thats cooked to perfection. Those are the bomb! I ordered nachos here but ended up throwing them away.....sorry....eish...I think Ill have to go eat there in person to see what they put on it but ummm...never again lol. Ill try other dishes and report back.

Great vibe and value for money. Delicious food. Great portions. The manager was welcoming and friendly. The waiters could be a bit more attentive in checking empty plates instead of having to call them over to clear a crowded table.

I am a huge Salsa fan and been frequenting the restaurant since their early beginnings. Unfortunately this evening I ordered a veg enchilada and a veg nachos (take away) which my wife and I decided to share. We found the food to be extremely sweet and unlike its usual consistency. I think the refried beans or the habenrao sauce for some reason turned out to be too sweet. Please can you investigate and ensure that the original consistency is maintained.

Absolute best mexican food i’ve had to date. The cocktails are amazing too, try the Chilli and Pineapple margarita.

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants! Food is delicious and tequila is good 😎 Personally I found margarita a bit watery and watermelon cocktail little sweet, but I like that they use watermelon fruits not syrup 🤘🏼 Overall good service as well. Just one tiny thing- would’ve preferred it if servers keep the mask on; I know it’s uncomfortable to speak with masks on, but would much appreciate it if the servers don’t pull down the masks to speak (for the corona time being) 😅

Very tasty food, there are vegan options, you just need to request it, the vegan mince enchiladas are mouth watering! A must try

Love the youthful vibe and ambience of this place. Enjoyed the build your own menu and of course all of the cocktail jugs. Also loved the variety of tequila, along with nachos and tacos, I felt truly Mexican.

After receiving a R105 discount for loyalty via UberEats, every order I place is now cancelled. This is for different food items on different days. If the management of Salsa can stand by their word, they definitely dont value loyalty and wont be getting my patronage again.

My experience thus far of Mexican cuisine in South Africa has been mixed to predictable. That is, Ive eaten very salty food that seems unbalanced in its flavorings. Not so with Salsa Mexican in Kylami corner. The food is well apportioned, thoughtfully presented and Id hazard carefully prepared. We had the burrito, jalapeno poppers and some meat balls. The food was rich in flavour, lightly salted and as youd expect, the hot food was mooi caliente!!!The restaurant is well situated, well lit, and facing sunset. The service was good, courteous and friendly. They even chucked in a sombrero, tequila and a flare for my birthday. Id recommend this place for tiny tasty bites or afternoon drinks. Tell em Z sent you for a 5% discount.

What a great place to spend an evening. The decor, lighting, staff and most especially the food was fantastic. Vegetarian options are also good.The birthday celebrated was given its own spin at this venue. Special thanks to Ivan, our waiter, for making sure we were always happy. The foods an absolute treat. The authenticity to the Mexican styled menu is great, with flavours and presentation that reminds one of the very place its inspired by. Great portions served too; youll surely feel full after your meal. I must admit though that if you like your food spicy, order it that way because their spicy sauces dont quite do much for making the mild food pack a punch.

A group of friends and I went here for a birthday and the service was terrible the waitress was rude, the food we ordered was wrong and cold. Very disappointing

Food is inconsistent and they do not follow notes on food orders. If you order something deep fried it generally comes to you burnt and anything that has a sauce comes soggy. Will not be supporting this restaurant anymore.

It was so nice, We were there for Christmas party. The vibe was good and the staff was very attentive.

Our group of six arrived at 10pm on a Monday while the restaurant was closing and the staff let us in and were incredibly accommodating. Staying and serving delicious craft tequila until past 11. 5 star service. We will try the food next time.

They should actually just take the milkshakes off the menu, it tasted more like watered down strawberry icecles. The best part was the glass it was served in. The nachos hmmm I ate less then half and I love nachos the chips were bland and lack substance , the cheese nothing exciting and melted to one side without even distribution...if this is the authentic take on South American cuisine Bleeeeh, we like the SA take. We do love the welcoming staff.
