I have been with the center for more than 3 years, I may yet to see such a professional and compassionate Dr like Dr Dreyer and Dr Mahomet who always see my husband. These two doctors deserve awards if there is any, I just wish the center was a 24hr service center. I get frustrated when they are closed. Dr Dreyer and the rest of the staff. May God bless you

We stood for at least more than five minutes without being attended at the reception, luckily I came early for the appointment . After client file was created, a doctor was allocated . The centre had an abundance of doctors whom clearly were not busy but we were allocated a doctor which we had to wait at least 45mins beyond our appointment, no one, I mean no one had the decency to even update us why were waiting for that that long. Never mind the actual consultation, we had to get a second opinion, I wish they were professional, I guess not all wishes come true. Oh by the way, they charge as per PPEs that doctor used, from coat to surgical gloves used by doctor.

In Midrand Medical Center there are a lot of different shops like, property offices, Coffee shop and Gift shop too. And for kids there little play ground, it is a beautiful place and it is Medical center too. Very convenient place and parking a lot there. Pharmacy shop is also in this center.

Dr Daniels Tenea is amazing. Great service and advise on dermatology matters.

The receptionist on Saturday very rude... will not go back there

After many years of roaming from one doctor to the other vecause I could not find a doctor who is professional and passionate enough, I recently visited the Midrand Medical centre and I was send yo Dr Dreyer, and I am grateful to her. She takes time listen, explained a lot of things clearly, and also the did really thorough tests, I really recommend Her. The bestI have see so far.

This was the worst experience ever , i will never go back i was charge a fee of over R1400 to be seen by a doctor whom just told me wat meds i should continue taking she never gave me a script for meds she also advised i should go for a covid test which was a waste of time since results came negative . den she had booked me off from work the entire week , the following ,monday i was still suffering with severe headaches from the time of my first check up , so i called up the docs to ask if i should come in for another check up or if i should change meds , 2 min later i get billed for R500.00 when the doc did nothing for me over the fone , she nva gave me a script or an extended sick note , now i am sitting at work and get an sms saying i am owing midrand medical centre an amount of R500.00 for no reason . this is utter nonsense why should i pay for no reason .

Dr Jacovides is a wonderful family physician who goes above and beyond to help his patients and their families holistically. His practice has friendly staff and waiting times are always kept to an absolute minimum. My experience today with Dr Dreyer, even amidst a pandemic, was welcoming, professional and safe. Highly recommend this practice to anyone.

Early on Monday morning I called to book for an appointment. I booked an appointment for 16:45. I arrived there at 16:35 the receptionist told me I was booked for 16:30 and the Dr. had been waiting for me but cancelled since I did not arrive on time. I told the receptionist that i booked for 16:45 and not 16:30 and she told me that the person who booked my appointment had left and there is nothing they could do, the Dr. had to leave and i should book for the next day. I just said no thank you, i will go somewhere else. She couldnt be bothered. Pathetic if you ask me, no apology or empathy.Since the new staff started, everything seems to be going downhill. This used to be the best medical centre. Now its just a sham

Dr Dreyer is the best, she saved me from an infection that even my gynae wouldnt test. I am super thankful. If it wasnt for her, I dont what I would have done. The reception stuff need to be more friendly though, we pay for the services provided.

I went to see Dr Chihaka and I wasnt happy with her. She will do a pregnancy test even if you tell her that you are not pregnant so that you can pay. She will make you feel scared and tell you that you might have cancer. That Dr traumatized me. I dont think I will ever go back to that medical Centre

Made an appointment to see Dr Jacovides yesterday. All the staff were helpful and polite. From the X-Ray department to where I had my bloods taken to the receptionist to the pharmacy to Dr Jacovides himself in whose hands I felt safe and confident. Today I got a call from them to give me my blood results and to find out how I was feeling. That’s service! Even though they booked me for 15 min later than I actually requested and I think some of the corridors and furniture in rooms could do with a little upkeep and liveliness - I still come away feeling treated 5 out of 5. Thank you and well done MMC!

Dont go there, just dont! I had a 2 oclock appointment, i arrived at 13h45 took out my file and had a sit. 2 hours later Im still waiting with no communication! When I walk up to the reception desk to complain about this the same lady who took out my file has the nerve to ask me, when you walked in did you come to the desk for your file to be taken out lady Ive been here for two hours you took out my file and now see it fit to ask me such a question 😠😠she then explains that my doctor had an emergency and is in the ER! When i asked why this wasnt communicated to me so i could be given the option to book another appointment or given another doctor she failed to answer! I for one prefer male doctors , i told her to give my file to the next available male doctor because I know all the male doctors here and they come highly recommended by friends and family and she instead gave me a female doctor! Im 8 months pregnant and its not like Im hiding it, the doctor spent 2 minutes with me gave me a prescription, when I got to the pharmacy this lady gave me a prescription that pregnant woman are not supposed to take! The pharmacist called her for an explanation to why I was given this prescription and if its correct, lady said she had run tests and its okay, this is very confusing to me because she did the blood test on Tuesday and they returned on Wednesday which she was mot available to receive the results, and we called her on Thursday and that was her response so how the hell is she recommended medication pre tests? Two days later Im still waiting for the test results and an explanation for her prescription! This is unacceptable!Dont bother yourself by booking an appointment here!

I have been a patient of the Medical centre since 2012 to date. In all honesty. The best Dr that was at the Medical Centre was Dr S Ramduth. She always took the time to find exactly what was wrong with you, gave the best treatment. She always always went the extra mile. Since she had relocated the medical centre has lost alot if valuable patients and the service is poor. I was referred to Dr Kloppers and she was also very helpful gave the best treatment. I have been to the centre and had to the see Dr Munsamy who was the emergency Dr on duty.. He is not at all helpful. I have lost all hope in going to the medical centre.

You get given an appointment but only get to see the dr 2 hours later if Youre lucky!! It can happen one or even twice but when everytime I come here I have to wait for over an hour it becomes ridiculous! Not to mention I always come in early to fill out any forms needed . They are not respectful of our time. I need to find new doctors!! This is not n

I am absolutely disgusted by the service at reception. Firstly, I get to reception and not one of the two receptionist look at me after I greeted. When they finally decide to give me attention I let them know that I called and I would like to see the doctor. (I called the number I found on the website, the person I spoke to informed me that the doctor is in and I can just come in) No all of a sudden the doctor is only available at 15:45. I am sick, this is the last thing I need to hear and they couldnt care less. I ask them if thats the correct number they said yes, I say okay in future what should I do in order to avoid this they tell me that I SHOULD CALL AND BOOK AN APPOINTMENT!! must be kidding me.! All they could say is that they would never say this and I should call and book an appointment next time.

Its the second time i come to this surgery for some weird reasons they cannot find my daughters file. I do not understand what is going on here, there is a long of unnecessary waiting too. I arrived here at 11h30 its now 13h06 and im still here waiting for i dont know what. This is terrible, seems like they have no respect for us patients. Same thing happened to me last week, i had to wait for an hour and a couple of minutes just to get a doctors letter. I am seriously concerned and appalled.

Whatever you do, DO NOT SEE DR MOONSAMY. I have consulted with him 3 times already and was disappointed in all cases, he is the least emphatic and not helpful AT ALL!Yesterday was the last straw. We arrived at the practice with my sister that had a sprained knee and couldnt walk. He didnt think to offer a wheelchair and my sister had to hop along into this Drs office that did NOTHING for us in the end. All he did was write us a letter to go to the hospital after hardly examining my sisters leg! He just wrote down her symptoms and told us there was nothing he could do. Halfway out of the surgery I asked if he could give her something for pain, only then he asked if an injection would be okay, how should I know whats okay?!?! Also, could he not have thought about giving her something for pain all by his doctor self?We expect to pay for expertise and care...unfortunately Dr Moonsamy provides neither. All ul be paying for is breathing the same air as him. Do not bother cos ul need to see another Dr anyway.

Dr Kloppers is very good and caring. 5 stars for her.Service at reception could be better. They dont even look up when you appear at the reception desk.Once I was 5 minutes late for an appointment in the late afternoon and I lost my spot and had to wait for the ladt person but when I come in time I always have to wait.I had a high blood pressure so, as agreed, I came in every saturday morning early to have 2 readings taken and logged. The nurses were most occassions stressed and I felt that I was just wasting their time. When one nurse said she doesnt have time to check my blood pressure I said OK and just left. I didnt come back for the regular checks after that and I was supposed to come back for a monitoring in December 2018 which I didnt.

Please do yourself a favour and go somewhere else. Booked an appointment, been waiting for an hour and no one has called me

All of a sudden, I receive an invoice with a threat to be charged with collection fees. I never even received a letter to say that I owed. The administration is weak and for me, the lack of admin in a company shows the lack of substance and value.

It was a great experience being there for my eye treatment in the past 2years,and l was there this week for vaccine,the service hasnt change.You will be always my priority.Thank you,,,,

Terrible experience at reception. Watch this crowd - they will do anything to use all the services at the centre. I went for a head injury and ended up having chest X-Rays and no treatment for my head. Also seven unnecessary blood tests. Avoid this practice.

Worse place to be. This service is pathetic, what is the point of making appointments and yet still be waiting an hour to see a doctor. Reception what can I say useless is like they are doing you a favor... I will never come back here again.

Highly unhappy with the treatment and service. There is not even a complaints line or contact. So I wrote a review on their fb page. Noticed that they removed my review. So customers opinion doesnt matter? Are we not allowed to be honest or complain that we paying a very pricey consultation fee and not receiving anything near to what the price is worth? Staff and doctor I saw are highly unfriendly. Made me feel as though they were doing me a favour. I was in so much pain that morning and they kept looking at me as though I was pathetic and the manner in which they spoke to me was uncaring and unfriendly. Felt like I was wasting their time.I am a chronic bronchitis and tonsilitis sufferer. In Durban I received good, helpful service from doctors. New to Midrand I went here. Made an appointment and when I walked in the receptionist spoke to me as though she couldnt find my appointment and that I was lieing about making a booking. Tried telling the doctor about my problem, he was so uninterested and ignored everything I told him. Prescribed me medication which I told him Ive had before and it didnt help. He didnt care and said I have to take that. Antibiotic course done last week and today I still have swollen tonsils. Now I had to make an appointment with a different doctor from another practice because I cant afford to spend money on such a heavy consultation fee yet recieve no help . Definately never going here again.

Appointments are never on time or the doctor is unavailable.

We were attended to in a friendly manner although the lady at the counter didnt give us enough explanations on protocols making us to nearly pay for something we werent sure of the otherwise theyre cool.
