Generally this place is fabulous!... On this particular day, it was not.Booked a week in advance for a special event.Nobody called to follow up.The day before, the booking was not even on file.Thank goodness I brought flowers for the table.There was really nothing wow about the event, In-spite of being reassured that the events manageress had my details and would ensure that our needs would be catered to.The service was worse than bad. The waiter so inattentive that our group missed the cut off for breakfast, even though we had made a booking for brunch.The view was the only redeeming component.Really disappointed with the over all result.May next time will be better.

I loved everything, from making the reservation to arriving at the gate and actually being at the club house. A bit confusing to get there but I also wasnt paying attention to signageThe main restaurant was clean, waiters were professional and the food was amazing. I spent the whole day there so after the main meal, we moved to the lounge, everything was exquisite, I really cant fault the service and ambience.For sundowners, moved to the outside seating, man the the sunset from my table 👌It really is a hangout spot I can recomend, no loud music, we were able to converse among ourselves as we had not seen each other in a year.

The most beautiful place Ive been to recently. For golf lovers and fine dining restaurant👌👌👌. Beautiful scenery with dam and Waterfall. The restaurants ambiance on point with view overlooking the golf field. The food and drinks was amazing. Excellent service from our waiter and day ended well with birthday wishes as they offered the dessert🍰❤️Definitely coming back for some yummy food and forgot to mention their prices are so reasonable for such a fine dining👌

Beautiful restaurant. Expansive interior with a formal dining area, bar area, informal lounging area and grand exterior outside area overlooking the golf course. Beautiful views of the club house, golf course and nearby houses. Limited menu, limited vegetarian options, one vegan option. No need for an extensive menu when there is such a relaxed environment. Amazing lavatories offering absolute privacy. Good cooked to perfection. And of course, many photo opportunities. Higher end restaurant. There are Tapas, mains and desserts on the food menu - no vegan options, all vegetarian options are standard meals without the meat. Wine and cocktails on the drinks menu. And a wide variety on the bar menu.

Absolutely fantastic! One of the best golf courses in Gauteng and SA, in my opinion. I play here somewhat frequently and even the halfway clubhouse and restaurant, both offer fantastic food and service. The restaurant has great cocktails and an absolutely elegant menu. Definitely recommend playing a round here, then stay for the 19th hole and then some.

Love this place such a beautiful place

One of the best courses in SA. I still dont understand how I lose so many balls when I play there. Everywhere you look is green even in Winter. I understand why the charge the amount of money for 1 round of 18 holes. I can play here every weekend. If you havent, book and see it for yourself.

One of the best golf courses I’ve played. Impeccable conditions and well worth the green fees. You wouldn’t even be able to tell it’s winter. Only issue was pace of play. Marshal non-existent.

Being fathers day there was a set menu. However the food was good but the kingklip size was rather small. The chairs in the restaurant were very comfortable and the decor nice. I would definitely go back there.

Great setting and impressive estate. From the moment you enter at the entrance to the club house which is an eco green designed building with a gym and superb facilities you are in a upmarket environment. The service at the club is Great and the golf courses well designed and maintained and offers a fair challenge to all levels. A must play. Expensive round of golf at any standard but well worth it.

The restaurant is beautiful, the view of the palace is impressive and the food is good - mine was a delicious 8/10, but my companion scored his 5 . The chairs on the verandah are comfortable enough and you can watch the desperation on the faces of the players who hit their ball into the water on the 18th.Unfortunately the service is terrible. I had to ask for the table to be wiped down six times. The final time involved me getting up and asking the person manning the maitre ds desk if a complete lack of service was a general occurrence there. She was highly apologetic. Faith served us herself, for a while. Finally we had menus and drinks (my second, having ordered the first from a different lady before being seated).After the complaint things pendulumed, and were slightly reminiscent of helicopter waiting, as we had a slew of waiting staff approach at inopportune moments to see if we were happy, healthy, hungry and hydrated enough.All in all, would 7 out 10 return for post golf lunch.

Pathetic to say the least. They promote the dlDino park. But you not allowed in. Even driving an hour. The Dino park just for residents only.... Waist of time and really not even worth the effort. If that is how they promote.... Then Steyn City is only in it for money...

The service was excellent. Our waiter Shepard took great care of us, and made some excellent suggestions for the wine. All the food was excellently presented and tasted just as good as it looked. The dessert was amazing! The view of the golf course from the club is amazing, such an awesome place to watch the sun setting. There is a great ambience, beautiful and comfortable place! Somewhere I would definitely go over and over again, and suggest to as many people as I can. It was value for money.

In the past two or years Im played the following golf Courses: Congressional (Bethesda), Robert Trent Jones (Virginia), Le Golf National (Paris), Catalonia (Spain), The Links and Leopard Creek (SA), Dubai and Bear Mountain (Canada) - pound for pound, this is best conditioned course. Value for money, it is miles ahead of all the above mentioned.

It is one of my favourite places in the world for its peace & quiet, while being so chic ... for a clu house!The staff are amazing & attentive... & the views are spectacular 👌🏾
