The service was great, we got an angel of a waitress who understood us. The food and the coffee wow! The menu has variety.The place was rather crowded, all tables were full and there was not a lot of space to move and what made it worse is that they still had people waiting inside.

Convenient, friendly staff, well priced and, really impressive COVID safety, a large menu and the last word in fresh. Id recommend the salmost eggs Benedict - flawless.One of the best breakfast spots in the area.

❤️Visit to highten your culinary senses. My favourite items are, the red berry french toast with mascarpone cheese, add bacon or pork sausages. The French onion burger with wedges. The poppy seed baguettes and lastly the delicate pistachio macaron.

Went to Pauls for breakfast. The restaurant was getting busy. We sat outdoors and it was amazing. The wait for the meals was not long. I had the Salmon Benedict. It was amazing. The bread was soft and the hollandaise sauce was really good. Definitely worth it. I would be back

This must be the busiest Pauls in Jozi (I stand corrected) but the service is on point the food even better and a stunning view.

Friendly and helpful staff. Some of the freshest croissants & pain au chocolate my husband and I have had in a while. On the weekends it is a bit busy in the morning, and you may have to wait to be seated, but I would say its worth it.

Enjoyed light meals and coffee, tea. Good vibe, and got to catch up with an old friend name Paul as well.

Not great compared to Melrose Arch. Pastry quality was poor, service similar.

The food is not the best (Melrose Arch branch is far better!), ordered a burger and the patty tasted old and almost like it was frozen and not freshly made, mushroom sauce lacked flavor. The waitrons are good though.

I wish it was bigger, so it could accommodate more people.

My first visit to Paul was in Paris in 2017. Paris recipricated my amazing experience by placing a Paul restaurant in Sunninghill.This place is legit, its a great little spot to have some authentic French patisserie or to enjoy some great food.Their burgers are the best in town.Rather dont listen to this review and go somewhere else because Id prefer to get in without queuing... 🙃

Ordered a breakfast today. Requested chicken sausages and macon. Received bacon and pork sausages. Was rather disappointed. The chocolate éclair was good though.

Luke warm cappuccino and ice cold pastries. You would expect the pastries to be fresh out the oven, except they are served cold from their fridge - they dont even bother to warm them.

Cute cafe. Good coffee. Bakery was yummy too.

Edit: Not sure what‘s going on but i bought pain de champagne (kind of a french sourdough) and baguettes a couple of times now and they are simply not as fresh as at Melrose. Not sure if they changed the recipe or if they only bake every other day now, but it‘s disappointing.==========Great to now have Paul completing the Polofields mall!Paul makes some of the best bread, croissants and pasteies in Joburg, and when I visited this branch the quality was there.So, probably gonna come here often, get some bread and croissansts and then grab a coffee from their neighbors Manaka as well.Probably will also check out their menu as in addition to being a bakery Paul also is a full on French bistro.

Excellent service always. The staff very friendly and efficient. The food, amazing. Just a great vibe and welcoming experience.Mildred and Primrose, the hostesses know how to take care of their customers especially their regulars. Its always refreshing to walk into a restaurant and hosts greet you with big smiles because they are happy to see you again.

Earlier this month I visited Paul at Polo fields crossing , the service was terrible due to we were forgotten about ..., we didnt get a menu after we were seated, we waited 10minutes until we had to ask for a menu , then we ordered some hot drinks and we had to wait for sugar , then I asked a lady waiter for it , she said okay , went passed us and didnt bring the sugar... plus having to see rats running around the outside wasnt a pretty site while having something to eat. I will not be visiting Paul restaurant again . I was never ever disappointed with the Service from the Melrose Arch branch.
