The short Indian Dentist is very bad. He is a racist, and he does a bad job. He got a dirty office and his staff is rude. He like to torture you when he operate on your mouth. He don’t do X-ray. Even location Tembisa has better office. Very filthy bad guy.

Dentist Pema is a coward who likes to torture his patients under operation with useless bicker and gossip that is condescending and dangerous. He is a useless dentist and he has been reported to the medical board.

You would think I would receive some sort of care walking into such a place but I was met with a very unwelcoming vibe. After signing and filling in all of their forms I spoke to a blonde receptionist. She asked how can I help you? I said I need stitches on my finger and she repeated my statement as if I said something bizarre to her. She said oh no you need a doctor for thatYes!! Well done, thats exactly why I walked into this establishment. She then said no all our doctors are busy sorry.Useless place, I would atleast expect some concern towards my situation. I will definitely not be returning there.

This facilty leaves much to be desired considering the pandemic gripping the country. They do not offer online consultation. You will be placed in a room with patients with active covid symptoms if you want a test due to potential exposure where you will probably get the virus if you dont have it.

Worst dentist ever, went for a tooth extraction on 23 August will never go back worst service ever.

Reception and admin staff are rude and lazy. The practice manager seems like shes on holiday. I hate going to this establishment. The only reason we go is because of Dr Moodley, there is no better doctor.

I would actually rate this practice a minus…Absolutely pathetic from the time you enter, the staff are terrible, their attitudes , demeanor, they treat people without any sense of humility.The lady who sits at the stairs doing the COVID screening is absolutely unskilled, she screams at you, and she pushed the thermometer into my ear so vigorously that she actually hurt me. I’d rather die, then visit this place ever again, it’s that bad!!!

The only reason I go this place is because of Dr N. Moodley. I have 3 files apparently and this was supposed to have been fixed last year already by Leila Khan when it was just 2 files. I called in today and asked for my file number so I can add this joke of a place on my bank payment recipients, Once again Leila Khan, who already shouldve been on pension, gave me a very wrong reference number.Firstly it is paramount that Google allows us to rate Zero (0) down to minus (-).Secondly, institutions need to allow their staff to go on pension when time is up so they create space for the younger generation.Lastly, be very very careful of places you go to for medical attention, you only have 1 life.

Only reason we visit is to see Dr Moodley. Reception staff are extremely slow and dont care what you are there for. They pretend to be on a call, but chatting to their colleagues. Service is appalling for the rates they charge. If you like visiting government clinics, then you found the right place.

I booked an appointment online and then called in advance to check if they took my medical aid. They said they did. When I arrived I followed clear signage outside and went to an entrance only to find that I had to use another entrance (with a knee injury, thanks). Then they told me they didnt take my medical aid at all and said I would have to pay cash. I decided not to proceed based on this because how can I trust you if you get something so simple wrong. Ten minutes later I got an extremely rude call from their reception asking where I was and if I was still coming as if I had not already been there. I explained what happened and instead of apologizing for the situation and the call they were rude to me. Would not recommend at all. Rather go to medicross 400m down the road, they took me as a walk in.

I have been going to this centre for a while now and even when I moved to Durban and came back, I went back there. I see quite a lot of bad reviews about the reception staff but my recent interaction with them has been very pleasant. I hope they keep up the good work.

Dr Lesego Khantsi and Dr Okeke are the best but the administration of this place is so poor.

Dr Pema the dentist isnt friendly to his clients. He did the job well but failed to properly advised me as a patient struggling with wisdom teeth. It was like talking to a Brick wall. I wouldnt recommend going to this dentist

Ask for DR Mac she is amazing omg she is the best human and she is so kind.What a boss lady.The lancet team.... dont expect much they pretty rude and unfriendly....But dr Mc makes its worth their snotty attitudes

Ive only had tremendous service at this medical center. From a quick visit to get travel related shots, to any of the 4 different GPs that Ive seen over the past few years.The receptionist was extremely helpful and pleasant, and Dr. Clark is just lovely. He assesses more than just the immediate symptoms / complaints, and is not trigger happy with hard medication, as some doctors can be.At the moment the back entrance is closed, due to COVID-19 protocols, so be sure to use the front entrance next to Dischem. Considering that the doctors, nurses and staff are all dealing with the second wave in a global pandemic, I was pleasantly surprised by their (still) kind and patient demeanor. I will certainly be back.

Monday, 7 December 202010:55amAn absolutely horrid experience!!!We used the back entrance, only to get to reception to be told we have to exit and use the front entrance in order to be screened for COVID.There is 0 signage at the back entrance stating the above.I am appalled by what I see as I sit here in the waiting room.7 staff members (reception and dental) are not wearing masks appropriately.All over the waiting room are signs displaying wear a mask but they fail to adhere to this.Why should the patients only adhere to this rule???!!!

I have been using using these guys, different doctors, for a decade now. I am still happy.

Dr Pema, the dentist is not professional at all nor does he treat his patients with courtesy and respect throughout the doctor, patient relationship. He will prioritise and treat you with care and courtesy prior any payment is made, after he has received the money, he wont give you anytime of the day even in a case of a return job. Talk about people who are in it just for money. Nothing but a qualified crook.I will not recommend him to anyone.

I absolutely love Dr Lesego Khantsi. She is so amazing. Your receptionists, however, are damn rude. They have no people skills whatsoever. If it wasn’t for Dr Khantsi I would not use Healthworx.

Reading so many bad reviews about this place but this is my go to medical center. Dr Bangaar is an exceptional GP, highly recommend her. Havent had any unpleasant encounters with the receptionists - hoping it stays that way.

There is nothing as disheartening as being sick as I am right now, you call the medical centre and confronted by a very rude and unprofessional receptionist.

Pathetic service , Im sitting with a medical aid bill even though HEALTHWorx confirmed before I can get an appointment that they accept my medical aid.After 3 months the inform me to pay a huge amount . After disputing it they send my account to the lawyers, very disappointing after knowing its your staff to blame for giving wrong information to patients , will never go back to this horrid place

Doc took us in half an hour late but what a pleasant visit to a doc! I wasnt even upset with having to wait. Thank you Dr Ross for your pleasant, informative manner. We left feeling better already. ☺

Doctors are great but the receptionists are very rude!!!!!

Poor dentistry department.My daughter went for a check up in October 2018, we were told that we need to get medical aid authorisation for the treatment (nothing stopped them from calling medical aid on the spot)...mid November all that was sent was a statement of due fees.We requested update on the appointment and treatment thereof, no response.December we are there again and appointment is set. We arrive for the appointment 1 week later, which they set...then we needed authorisation (how was appointment confirmed by them?).A week later, when I was getting authorization, I need treatment code and quotation...they did not know????? My daughter is in pain while they defend themselves right through instead of resolving such a simple thing.We asked for a referral letter, they advise that we must just say our daughter needs treatment- and if I request incorrect treatment??? I refuse and ask that they send me an official referral letter so I can get help elsewhere...I am still waiting.

The frontline service is bad. The reception area needs to improve. The doctor spoke over me and was not willing to listen to the reason I was there. I was misdiagnosed on more than one occasion. I would not recommend them to friends and family. They need to do better, people who go see them are ordinarily not feeling well.

Dr Lesego khantsi is the best Dr in the whole South Africa I love the fact that she listens and will go extra mile until you get better if we can have more of Doctors like her SA will be a better place. Keep up the good work my Dr .

Clean and tidy clinic!

They once described wrong medications for my daughter and she got worse. the following day when I went to complaining, the receptionist told me I will have to consult again and pay again because the Dr that helped me was not available .Bad bad service ,I am not going there anymore .

They are super expensive and above all else, they prescribe the wrong medication and they book you off for like 3 days and 7 days later you are even worse. I would not recommend this practice as even people I work with have had EXACTLY the same experience as I have had. P:S: Their reception can be dismissive and rude.

Dr LESEGO KHANSI is by far the BEST GP I have ever had an encounter with. My worst health issues were discovered and dealt with by her and most recently my 6 month old son was her patient and I absolutely loved the way she is genuine and makes you feel healed and better the moment you walk out her office. She is thorough, compassionate and sympathetic. I would definitely vouch for her any day. Now this is a woman working in purpose for her life. THORISO MORENA!!!

Dr Lesego Khantsi is the BEST GP I’ve ever had. She’s thorough, she listens, and is absolutely amazing with her job. My entire family goes to her now. I would highly recommend her any day.

We have only used HealthWorX for emergencies so far and every time I had a sense that doctors cared and actively listened. Definitely becoming our medical practice of choice.

Dentist receptionists are unbelievably *RUDE* and have bad attitude. Theyll forget to note-down/log your appointment and still be rude about it.The GP (Dr Lesego Khansi ) is very Excellent .

The best service with the best bedside manners. Pity that with all the wrong diagnoses I received I ended up unable to walk and was rushed to hospital for pain relief after consulting with a different doctors office, where it was discovered that I had to have spinal fusion to avoid paralysis. I have changed my family general practitioners.

I only go to this establishment to see Dr Clark, he is definitely one of the best doctors around. As for the admin and reception staff they really let this place down. Its such so sad.

HEALth-WorX Medical Centre - Carlswald has the worst receptionists in the health business. They are cold, un understanding, rude and definitely not meant for a place of healing. The admin staff is not at the right place.

I have used the GPs, Dentist and Lancet Pathology Lab here. GPs: Excellent service. Usually run late though. I always ask myself whether I would want a doctor willing to make a little extra time for me though, so now I just make provision for waiting at least 30 mins extra. Dentist: Amazing service, very gentle, and mostly on time. Lancet: Usually quick. Great service. Gentle nurses.

10min early before my 12pm appointment. Reception kindly assisted and asked me to take a seat at doc office. 1hour passed and other patients who came between 12-1pm was attended to first. Doctor asked if im here to see him and i said yes, he said go moan at reception because they did not bring my medical file to his office. I spoke to reception and same young lady who assisted me, insisted that she put my medical file at doc office but to her suprise she didnt.

Disgusting! My girlfriend went there for an x-ray yesterday on a finger that might be broken and the person doing the x-rays said to her You lucky, I was on my way out to lunch and then throws a form in front of her and says Fill this in and be quick about it

The doctor and nurses were friendly and amazing however the receptionist is incredibly rude!!She has such a bad attitude towards patients.My first experience at Health worx and it is bad when frontline staff don’t know how to be welcoming and friendly.

Went to Carslwald health worx today before 6. My sons temperature was 38.1 service was terrible. More worried about the after fee charge musy pay before. Service is poor. Staff is not bothered. About a 8year old. We pay the after hours fee and werent satisfied with the setvice we walked out.

Receptionist was extremely rude when I was inquiring about my blood results which were supposed to have been given to me the previous day. Instead of trying to explain the situation to me, she rather shouted at me telling me that I was insulting her. This conduct is unacceptable for CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will be going to another practice from this day forward.

It consistently takes me a minimum of 3 calls to try and set up an appointment. You guys HAVE to improve on that.

Was accutely ill wity vomitting and they refused to help me. They chased me away!!

So one has to pay R400 extra (over and above what medical aid pays) to see the GP after 1pm which is considered after-hours!! That is ridiculous!

The dentist is on point, the admin staff is incompetent. Make sure you ask for a formal quote first if paying cash. Total rip off!
