We’ve been to Manaka twice and both times we were really impressed and satisfied. Service is excellent. We did not wait to long for meals. Food was delicious and sauces/dips that come with the meals are on point. 👌🏻 We also tried their signature mocha cheese cake.A great spot for brunch and coffee dates!

Highly recommend their coffee. The staff really know their stuff and take every effort to explain different blends and methods to match your deepest coffee desires. Their coffee is full-body and packed with flavour. The roasts are perfect. We tried their avo on toast and croissant and they were really good. Highly recommend visiting.

Excellent coffee and great food. It’s hard to find a decent halaal breakfast spot these days, but Manaka scratches the itch. On hot days, order a refreshing cold mocha. It’s amazing!

Great place to grab a coffee some complimentary biscuits wouldve gotten them a 4* rating. Coffee was great the 1st I had it. The second time not so great they have competition with the Pauls down the ally which by my observation makes better coffees ouch.

I made a quick visit to Manaka Coffee to try their selection of hot beverages.I had an Americano. I am not sure if they gave me a double or single (you can choose) but I think mine was double (nonetheless, whether it was single or double, it was very delicious 😋😄). That was the most delicious Americano I ever had! For those of you who do not know, an Americano is basically coffee with water and then you add sugar or milk. Think of the household coffee that we drink, for example, those instant chicory/coffee blends that we drink, then we add boiled water from the kettle with sugar, fresh milk or creamer. Those are fundamentally actually (similar to) Americanos, although there are a few more extra details that distinguishes the instant coffee to that of the machine ones in stores (theres a whole history why the drink is called an Americano actually. Read up on it).The Manaka Americano had a fruitiness to it. Before I added sugar and milk, I took a few sips just to taste it in its purest form. It was so delicious, I could have drank it just plain like that without additions!Another aspect that impressed me about Manaka Coffee is the idea that when I encountered them on social media, I thought it was just another business parading/pretending to be or trying to be a coffee shop. You know those ones who do their business, but they do not really have what it takes and are not really passionate about coffee. However, when I walked into Manaka Coffee at Polofields, I was impressed with regards to how sophisticated it looked, how efficient the staff members were (while you stand in the queue they take your order before you get to the front) and it was busy, meaning that they are a reputable coffee establishment in the Midrand area. They also serve savoury foods and desserts amongst others.Keep it up Manaka Coffee. I cannot wait until you open more coffee shops in other areas around South Africa.

Food was amazing ; cafe is cosy and and well maintained. Food is halaal. My friend had the chilli con carne n I opted for eggs benedict. Both were wonderful and the coffee hits right 🙌🏼 please try the flapjacks when you’re there - wow I would go back just for those . Only lost a star for me because not enough space between the tables to feel well distanced from other groups of people.

What a wonderful experience. The best service I have experienced in a very long time. A limited menu, but that only means the coffee is 1 minute away - if that long.Wasnt busy when I visited. Food wasnt too expensive, had a breakfast, was more than I expected. The toast was equal to almost a loaf of bread.Staff very friendly and well trained. Not shy to recommend anything which I dont see very often.

Such a great surprise to find a full Manaka restaurant at the new Polofields Crossing shopping center. Coffee is divine. Had a mocha chill and citrus blast smoothie with flapjacks and vetkoek. Delicious and a great experience 😍

We absolutely value this business. It does not disappoint. If you are SERIOUS about excellent coffee made the way it should be then Manaka is for you. Catering for Halaal, vegetarian, vegan and low carb with excellent and seasonal menu. The signature honey cake is a revelation.

Manaka, Polofields ..the venue chosen to celebrate my moms 50th birthday !From the querying process, to ordering and the on the day running of the event - everything was handled with seamless professionalism and a warm spirit.The food, and renowned coffee , lived up to every expectation and we were not let down in any way.Our 30+ crowd were handled with care and easiness, and no guest was left feeling unattended to or let down.The management team, waiters/waitresses were always smiling , efficient and on hand to handle all and every requirement we had .We would definitely recommend manaka to anyone wishing to host an event .. if not for the food than even just for the aesthetics 🤞

Amazing omelet and good coffee. Service was initially not great and almost as cold as the morning was. Pricing is more expensive than the Linden crowd and probably reflects the feeder neighborhoods. Not sure if it will be a regular stop for me. But credit to the chef on a really amazing and unusual omelet.

First visit here, as a vegan I was delighted to see the Cafe has food to offer us vegans! I ordered the king mushrooms without garlic mayo and to my taste buds delight it was super yummy and testy. Will definitely recommend them!

Visited them for the first time last week Monday. Very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Knowledgeable and bubbly waiters (I was served by Themba - great guy!) I had the Big Manaka Burger and their crispy fries. Wow! Bursting with flavour and very generous portions (I didnt need to eat until dinner time after that!).One of the owners was there too - Neo. Had a great chat with him - and got to learn about their journey and where they are looking to take their business. Also got to learn quite a bit about coffee that I didnt know (they have quite a selection!) and the process of roasting the coffee beans etc.Overall - I would highly recommend this establishment - whether its for a quick bite or for some work outside of the office. Amazing experience from the moment you walk in. Top notch!

Management is a joke at this place, I traveled for more than 30 minutes with my 4 kids to give this place a try, it was busy and we waited, after being seated the manager Waseem, comes to the table and asks for the table for another customer, because the waiter made a mistake.... This was embarrassing to say the least and unprofessional... Ended up leaving with 4 starving kids

Very relaxed lunch at Manaka. The lamb burger was really delicious and prepared as requested. We shared the saucy Korean Chicken and a Boerie Roll. Dessert was sweetly decadent Honey Cake and Cheesecake washed down by a woody cappuccino. The Boerie roll was not as good as the burger.The decor is tasteful and muted. The late afternoon sun was a bit pesky and a few well placed plants would sort it out.Themba was friendly, always available, and made us comfortable.

We popped in for breakfast after a bit of shopping and seeing the positive reviews. It was quite disappointing. The quiche was for sure old or had been reheated too far as the pastry and filling were both rubbery. The “side salad” comprised of yellowing lettuce, chopped baby tomatoes and what seemed to be grated cheddar cheese. At R100 for this dish, the portion was measly and the quality was below average. My partner had an eggs Benedict which was okay but the eggs weren’t done as requested and the whole thing lacked seasoning. We ordered the fresh squeezed juices but had to change one of the orders as they ran out of an ingredient. It arrived at our table warm and was average tasting. The service was okay but nobody checked on how we found the meal. It was also disappointing to see the barista/part owner discipline an employee at the bar.
