Teljoy is THE WORST COMPANY I have ever dealt with.. EVER!!I honestly do not understand why they feel that they are the only company that doesnt need to remind/advise clients on cancelation processes at the end of their 36month contract.Yet their collections company can collect items and tell you that its your responsibility to remember contractual Ts&Cs after 3yrs.My contact was supposed to end in Jan 2021, I had missed the last payment due to being unemployed and they stated charging me every month after that.. I questioned this when I wanted to settle the account willingly and no one ever gave an answer or even advised on the cancelation process.I requested for the complaints department and was told that someone would get back to me.. guess what, no one did... expect I got emails from collections with the balance increasing every month.I requested for the compliments department and was told that someone would get back to me.. guess what, I never got the details.. I actually  got emails from collections with the balance increasing every month.Now my TV has been collected and Im told that I owe them over 7k.What company purposefully does not advise on cancelation processes just to continuesly charge you? Just TERRIBLE

I was frustrated by the process which took weeks because Teljoy kept loosing my documents. I constantly got messages asking for documents I had sent and resent them 4 to 5 times. However I continued the process because of Brian Beilings who was very helpful.

He had all my details available at his disposal. He never once ummed or erred. I would give him 5 stars on all aspects of customer service as well.This is how customers should be treated.

I have been doing dealings with a concierge agent at Teljoy by the name of Letitia Mhlanga and boy oh boy she is the most friendliest agent I ever dealt with and she is so helpful. Coming to the end of my term of an appliance and decided lets get something else as all went so well first time round. This time I needed to beg for feedback on my application for 3 working days. Im taking my money elsewhere thanks to your eventual response and lack of service! You lost a loyal customer of 3 years! Never again...Update: Team leader did phone me and was very helpful and understanding. She changed my mind. She did what anyone at Teljoy should have done already. However, Ill consider increasing my rating if Im satisfied with the rest of the process and when my item arrives.

She is one of the best sales reps(Mpho Molefe) I have dealt with. Very forth coming and explains things to detail so one understands. Also her approach in asking if its an inconvenient time to talk just warms my heart cause most sales reps just want to push sales and never want to know if you are in a position to talk.She comes back to you if there has been an error making sure its not left to the other person but runs with the query till the end. She doesnt push you away to say its not my department but refers or provides contacts on whom to contact and if no luck get back to her. Lots of kudos to this young lady. A bit late on this review but it has to be done!!!!I would defiantly recommend!!!!!!I have used Teljoy before, many times, for appliances, TVs, decoders and game consoles, over a period of 8 years with no complaints at all. I will definitely continue to use them 😊The reason why they lost a star is because the washing machine I wanted was out of stock and was only told after processing, again after I chose another one, and had to settle on one that wasn’t really my favorite, but it still works well.But the reason for this review is to commend Teljoy delivery staff for their patience and kindness. I was moving and the complex was giving issues letting the delivery van in, the driver himself tried to explain to the security, and waited till we could sort everything out, even though he had other deliveries. Alfred and Junior, outstanding service really!!Telljoy you really select your staff very well.

Great service, Very Friendly, I sent a request on Sunday and received a call the following day.

Absolutely disgusted with the level of customer treatment after a very long time of being with teljoy I took out new appliances being my third rentalI was advised by the sales/customer care person due to the date of delivery i wouldnt have to pay any pro rataOnly to be debited on the incorrect date and have a full double debit pull offWhen I called in I was basically told the agent dis tell me Id have to pay and they refused to send call recordsBasically been called a lier by teljoy and received disgusting customer service as a banker im more than ready to go to a FAIS ombudsman about this matter misleading customers is illegal and cannot be tolerated!!!!!
