Stay away if you value your money and sanity. Fungi the guys who handle the gas and electricity are basically robbing the tenants i was over charged for months with no explanation services are non existent they never clean,the noise on weekends is unbearable and the guards there might be deaf as they never hear it

Weve been trying our best to get them to clean out the bins more often but nothings being done. On top of that, theyve moved 4 bins directly beside our window. We expressed how this can pose a number of issues to our health but they refused to move the bins. They only clean their bins about once a week so there is often a lot of build up of trash to the extent that it spills over into the parking lot. On more than one occasion I saw small children playing with the trash and thats dangerous for obvious reasons.Besides the bins, theres the issue of broken amenities in our unit. The units are supposed to be new and yet we found a number of issues when we moved in (both toilets werent working properly. One has been fixed while the other hasnt. Theres a leak beneath our kitchen sink that smells really bad. Mould has been developing and is steadily progressing. We emailed them about this but they havent done anything.) Weve contacted them multiple times to fix these issues but nothings been done.And then there are the random power cuts that affect no other complex except our own. These often go unexplained leaving people to guess at what is going on. The worst one lasted for nearly two days during a weekend when everyone had hoped to relax after a stressful week.Whoever manages this place doesnt care for the livelihood of its tenants. Its hard to think they do care when were experiencing all these issues. Weve tried and tried again to express our dissatisfaction but nothing is ever done. We dont know what else to do except to move out and find a better complex. Would not recommend staying here no matter how attractive the price of rent may seem. Keep in mind that utilities cost a substantial amount more than you think they will.

I have stayed at the Waterfall Crest complex for half a year now in a brand new unit. While the rental rates are attractive you soon learn why they are so. The plumbing in my brand new unit was a mess. leaks in the shower, toilet and there is a terrible smell that comes from the sink in the kitchen. My top floor units have roof leaks which took weeks to repair. The administration is terrible which isnt helped by the fact that there are no resident structures so everyone is on their own and if the administrators chose to ignore your complaints that is the end of it. I will certainly never stay in a M&T development again and will recommend no one does

Very nice place from the outside. The utilities are very expensive and service is not the best. Read your contract very well. If they could lower the rates it and ensure the finishings inside are good. Thats a start.

Very clean and welcoming. Security on point

The building is beautiful outside, inside they use cheap material and every month you need to get caretaker to fix something for you. Sliding door fell on me and i was told to sleep like that they will come in the morning. Closet door fell on me as i was opening the wardrobe.Visitors system at the gate is not working, your visitors need to call you at the gate with their own airtime and if their battery is flat then they wont be allowed it.Fungi are scammer, R600 for sewerage, R1000 doesnt last me a month and i stay alone.One you move in M-T does not worry about you or dont even botter to respond to your emails, even the agents that walk about with you for viewing once you move in they are done with you.Tenants are moving out because of Fungi and Fungi is still here.Communal lights dont switch off they stay on whole day by pool area and we have to pay for them.Im hardly a year and i have to move out again and its said.

The Utility is really a rip off, The place is beautiful but the bill is way too much. really thought tenants were exaggerating but NO. Fungi is trash the only 1 thing i would recommend this place and seems like nothing is done about it.

Worst place to live in history. They have this agreement with some scammers Called Fungi Utilities. They sell you a story about saving cause you use gas but before you do anything or use electricity, there’s a monthly fee of R554 that you must pay! R17 per day! Whether you are home or not! And then there’s the empty gym where the caretaker is always promising us everyday that the equipment is being delivered next week. It’s a real disaster of a place. I live in a 1 bed. I moved in on Sunday, and electricity blackout has been the problem ever since. Whats really going on with electricity???

Beautiful complexBut there’s too much noise. AFungi is a rip-off. My husband and I pay up to R1400 just for gas, electricity and waste in a 1 bedroom.The place is dirty. Bins smell absolutely terrible, they stink up your house as dirt piles up at the staircase for days which becomes the breeding ground for pests to infest our homes.Maintenance is such a hassle, you will wait for months to have things fixed.Overall the complex is disappointing.

If you want to rip off your wallet every month then please choose waterfall crest as your next home.Utility bill (fungi) is dam expensive, too many service fees.Unplanned Water maintenance.Great place but 5 days a week construction sound and dust.I havent see any one staying more than 3 months.

The place is dirty hardly gets cleaned , the security is not as tight as one would like it to be , electricity and gas is ridiculous, noise as well this is a big problemDefinitely not worth it for me and my partner thank God we leaving !

This place is so beautiful and quiet. Its close to the mall and gautrain bus stops. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The only issue is the ridiculous utility costs which the company is not transparent about. I spend R2400 per month on utility costs which is just absurd.

What I hate is that waterfall Crest can clearly see that all clients are complaining about Fungi utilities but it seems nothing is being done to resolve this. This utilities company is a total rip off!

Please stay away.........The complex is dirty, it stinks, barely cleaned, noise is crazy, no does anything except collecting your rent money, it’s all they care about. It’s a rip off.

They playing April fools on the residents, the front office and block near the gate has electricity but the rest of the complex blackout for over 24hours 😒mxm.don’t get my started with the maintenance within the complex 🤮we need to beg for the dustbin to be removed as it was becoming a health hazard....not value of your money !

This is one of the most dirty complex i have ever seen....they dont even clean the complex the only place they clean is there office so it look nice on the outside sucks..And this so Called Fungi Utilities what a rip off...pls i will advice not to even think about it moving in here is hell.
