Spur has always been great. I had a lovely experience at this specific one. I highly recommend sitting outside and viewing the animals from your table!

Waited 40 minutes just for a takeaway (two toasted sandwiches) on a quiet day. When we asked the lady how long...she said one minute (it is in the toaster) Then after another 10mins...we asked again.. then she said the slip fell and they didnt make the order...Not the best service.

7/6/19. Nothing beats the location, located at serene area. Unfortunately didn’t had enough time for a quick bite so choose to take away. The chicken burger was damm delicious and just loved it. Right balance of sauce and veggies with roasted chicken breast. May be the service could be faster, else it a great place to have tasty burger.Edit: 9/6/19On my return ordered for same burger and this time it was such a disappointment. No onions, no pickles, no sauce. It’s interesting to see how the taste could change with inconsistent preparation in same establishment two days away.PS: not scoring less, as the first burger was still the best.

I ordered americano with hot milk and received a luke warm americano with cold milk. My wife ordered cappucino and received hot milk topped with cream. Main meal: I ordered the eisbein thats on special and was told, its out of stock! The manager redeemed the situation by offering free replacement coffee/cappucino

The best Spur location I have ever seen.5 star rating for the location.Rihno, zebra, buffalo, a variety of Buck and other animals feed around the water hole. This is a special place and a must see if you are traveling on the N4.

Apparently Spurs version of a cheese and tomato sandwich with extra bacon. Shocking. We ordered 3 of these. No tomato in sight

What a great and enjoyable stop. Great breakfast. The food is great and waiters friendly. Themba is a great and friendly waiter. An enjoyable visit for a great Breackfast or lunch. The food is well prepared and presented. From where you have your meal you can watch verious game such as Buffalo, Rinos and verious ather game at a beautiful placed water hole 50 meters away from you. What a great visit

Its a Spur. If you like Spur, this is fine. Great stop with the kids, with ALZU farm in the background with roaming Rhino and Sables.

What a wonderful Spur to eat at! Came here twice, once for breakfast and once for dinner and both times the waiters were courteous and pleasant. Food was great and quick! A special mention goes out to Sam on the dinner crew, he is an absolute asset to this Spur. The man embodies service excellence.

Very good place to stop for a quick but excellent meal when traveling on your way to the Kruger National Park. Very friendly service can be expected. Nice relaxing place for a break or when around this area. Can watch some scarce wild animals from the platform.

Waited 20min with no service, atleast 5 waiters ignored me as I called for service. Would not recommend this place. It unfortunately has a racial service plan. And people of colour dont fit the quota of service.

Very poor service at Alzu Spur. We have been standing and waiting for a table for 2 but they keep on helping people behind us with seating. Very unacceptable.

That was my 1st love. Spur Appaloosa they give you attention and warm welcome. At 1st I was passing by but this time I definitely plan to pass there...And enjoy everything.

Appaloosa Spur, N4 petroport - I dont normally eat at spur but i was pleasantly surprised the staff were friendly super efficient the food was great and the restaurant as a whole was clean and organized, im loving the new vegan and vegetarian options that spur is now offering if im ever in that area again ill definitely return thanks guys.

Nice place to stop on a long journey, has a variety of wildlife to view and various venues to eat, convenience shop and fuel. Always busy but usually good service.

Its a good place to rest an take a break during your long drive between Mpumalanga and Gauteng. Service might be a bit slow though on busy travel days. Great view of the wild animal park in the area.

Can sometimes be slow but is always worth it. They do bring your food quickly if you are in a rush and the takeaway counter makes life so much easier
