Went as a day visitor. Staff were friendly. Place was clean. Though it was loadshedding at the time, we were not too affected. Kids had a blast. We will definitely camp there soon.No warm pool but maybe there were issues. Lots to do. Take cash since the shop doesnt do cards. If you have a gazebo, its a good going along if the benches are taken.Went as a camper a few days later. Much quieter in the week. Enjoyed the jacuzzi. Recommend a try especially on colder evenings. Didnt get to do the game drive since there wasnt enough people and we missed one due to not being told earlier. Recommend you ask at check in for booking.Take lots of insecticide if by the river. Gnats swarmed our tent but they dont bite.Had to buy more extension cords since plug point was 30m away. No tap nearby either. Not all camp sites have this issue.Bathroom closest to us had no shower for ladies but there are others further away. Dont forget your bath tub plug else bath is not usable.Family ablution is a nice idea and is clean.Overall a lovely stay.

Mens ablution was dusgusting and covid protocols not adhered too. No sanitiser at mens ablutuon and not soap to wash hands, very disappointing.

Not a pleasant experience. The staff in the office is rude. They do not reply to missed calls or messages. Hot water swimming pool was off the time we stayed there. Shop had no card facilities cash only. The chess set and games room was closed due to a Function. We feel the basics were not catered for that they advertise on the website. Taking peoples money and not supply whats advertised should carry a much harsher sentence that this bad review.

Had a lovely afternoon out in the sun with friends and family. Will most definitely be visiting again, but probably during a quieter time

We were at the wedding venue, stayed in a chalet. What a beautiful place. Garden is awesome and very neat. As we were there foe a wedding, dressing was fine, but there were no mirrors to do your hair. That is the only fault I could find in the 2 days we were there. Do yourself a favor and visit this awesome place!

Very clean bathrooms, but they really need to sort out their water situation. No hot water most of the time and no waterpressure, yet in the unisex bathroom you can either have boiling hot water with no pressure or ice cold water with high pressure, no in-between. Also the managing staff are really really rude. Other than that, it is a good place for a few days away.

Receptionist at the gate was very rude. But the park was nice and had a great time no the less. Everyone else was friendly and helpful.

Drove for more than an hour to get thereJust to be turned away as they do not allow big dogs on the premises. Yet your website mentions nothing of the sort.Security is absolutely rude towards customersMy dog is not big. Shes still a puppy and we had her on a leash but according to management she is big, only Yorkies and poodles are allowed. Yet there were people inside with bulldogs and greyhounds alreadyRather say NO DOGS Allowed and put it up on your website. Teach your security some manners. Maybe then your place will be a little bit better.

Very nice place to go for a holiday with your family especially if you have children.The animals at the petting zoo by the entrance are too cute and they love attention. There are many fun activities for the whole family to enjoy. The bathroom facilities are very neat and are cleaned multiple times daily. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun place to go to for a vacation without making your pockets hurt.

We attended the local craft market which was very poor. Nice campsite but nothing really to do there.

This is a very neat camping place and actually deserves 5 stars.....but 2 external things that botherd me. 1 is we were only 2 campers in the caravanpark and I did not feell safe as it is in town and 2 the constant traffic noise, I am noise sensitive. The grass and camping spots are extremely neat, the bathrooms are very neat (toiletpaper you must get at reception, but why dont they give it when you book in? Campingspots far from office...and if you have to go....it is to late to see sign). I loved the animals roaming, really was a nice experience. My son stayed there also and was on a gamedrive, he saw the advertisement at the gate. We are really sad that we missed it and nobody told us about that. All in all, if I were in a group I would defnitely stayed there, alone out of school holidays not again. I am from the country and anything near Johannesburg feels dangerous, so I was glad the night passed and we were ok.

Very neat, bathrooms always clean. Unfortunately to strict. Children not allowed to play music and that is at 13:00 in the day! If the music is to load at night and disturbing people its another story. And the stands are definately to small.

Consider putting paper hand towels in the ablution blocks to dry your hands after washing... otherwise everything is very organized, need and beautiful.

Klipdraai was beautiful, well maintained, clean. My only criticism is that none of the jacuzzis were available the entire weekend and the warm pool could have been warmed up by a few degrees considering the weather.

Lovely clean place we only camped for one night, but enjoyed our stay and the facilities.Just wont jacuzzi there......I got a chemical burn from the Jacuzzi on my inner thigh. I did report it, but they said that they dont put chemicals in the water. We seem to think it was maybe when they cleaned the jacuzzi, there might have been some residue left of whatever they clean with. As it definitely came through the holes and only the side I was sitting........

I am very impressed with the tidy facilities offered at this holiday resort. Friendly people and lots to do for children💕💕💕

Most of the weekend there were no hot water in the ablution we used. The water pressure in the womans portion of the ablution were not up to standard. And the sanitising can be upgraded.

We had a great time camping. Ablution blocks are cleaned regularly. Remember to bring your own toilet paper. You will be supplied with one roll at the gate. Jungle gyms and trampolines were love by the kids. Loved the little horses and the wildlife around the camp.

Klipdraai is very neat, clean and well run. Its a great place for the whole family. The huge caravan and tent stands are excellent. Each one has a brick paved area as well as plenty of lush green grass. They are very well demarcated. The ablution blocks are neat and clean. Children are well catered for. There is more than one swimming pool, as well as jungle gyms, swings, trampolines, pony and horse rides and more. This place is real value for money. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there.

Hidden gem on outskirts of Meyerton. Well kept park, lush lawns, variety of well maintained facilities, nicely paved stands, wildlife, friendly staff and security, and much more. The care and attention to detail is evident throughout this beautiful park. An absolute must if you havent been yet! Well definately be back.

Good family break, have all you need to keep kids busy, the camp sites around the pool are a bit close, the area you have to relax at pool to small. Not bad for in town camping

Such a pleasant experience. Beautiful and clean grounds, swimming pools, play areas and animals. Very relaxing and fresh. Communal bathrooms are very neat and clean, but you have to take all needed soaps and papers. Located near the R59, but far enough not to spoil the experience. We will definitely visit again and recommend it as an option for camping, either as a family, couple, group of friends or solo get-away.

Only one word, fantastic. It is huge, over 300 clearly maked caravan stands. No booking out of season. 3 swimming pools of which one is heated. There more than enough ablution blocks, clean big showers, enough hot water. Wedding venue, so beautiful. Well maintained. A must for a holiday or weekend breakaway.

Great camping destination for young and old. Campsites are great, with a few exceptions. The bathrooms never have hot water and the there is not enough taps at the camp sites. Other than that, its a great destination.

Great place to camp.Not a lot of shade and no demarcated stands.There are lots to do for the kiddies. The pools are very well kept.The ground was super hard. Getting your tent pegs in will be tough.The fact that you can check in at 6:30am is absolutely brilliant!
