I had a fabulous time with EcoTraining in the Nationalpark Krüger. This game experience was very unique and so aligned with nature and animals. I am a Yoga teacher and was looking for a way to disconnect from daily life to be able to connect again with nature, animal, people and myself. I’m looking forward to joining again.

After my NQF2, also with Ecotraining, i participate to the Trails guide course in Selati game reserve in August. Has been another incredible experience. Ecotraining is made of people, so my special thanks to all them, from booking to camp managers, Emma and last few days Carol, made our staying a five star one.Thanks to all the back up and camp Staff.. “Mama Emma” should get a Michelin star for her food. To Steve Baillie. I doubt a Trails guide course would be as memorable as it was..Final decision to partecipate at the course was based on the fact Steve accepted to be our instructor. I will never be able to express my gratitude for that.I had the pleasure to see Steve instructing during my NQF2, when he was busy with another group and, together with Jared my course mate, we decided that in case of participating at Trails Guide course we would need him.Steve demonstrated to be not only a superb guide and a fine conservationist but also the incredible instructor and mentor i imagined.Steve showed his incredible knowledge at the right time in the right place, making easier to absorb the huge amount of info and at the same time any walks was fun and enjoyable.Steve’s pure instinct is based on curiosity, knowledge, passion and on a unique way to transmit it ,and this is what happened. He transmitted me ( to all of us) his pure passion, delivering us more useful tools to interpretate nature. Steve showed us that human beings can find their place into a natural and wild environment being respected and accepted by other animals. Tks Steve, for the morning coffee, for the advices, for the laughs , for being an instructor, a mentor, a friend, tks for all the tracks i missed and that you pointed to me, and for the incredible experience you gave me.Im so looking forward to be back in the bush to follow your footprints.

If you want to learn something about the bush and wildlife but are not able to travel right now, I can highly recommend the EcoTraining online course. Had an amazing 8 weeks with very passionate instructors and the other students. EcoTraining brings the wildlife to your home.

After Corona stopped my plans to do the Nature Guide course in SA, I went for the first ever online guiding course with Eco-Training. And I have to say they did an unbelievable job in bringing their enthusiasm for nature, passion for guiding and their professionalism across in the digital realm. With a lot of anecdotes from experienced guides, video footage from current safaris and excellent live lectures/presentations they made it all very vivid and exciting. I can highly recommend the experience and the amount of interesting knowledge you gain in just 2 months is amazing.

Eco Training can offer a professional and unique experience. Definitely a perfect way to connect and learn a lot about Africa’s wild nature. I did the Fgasa field guide level one 55- day course and can only recommend it. The instructors are well educated and professional. The structure of the course and the lectures could be improved. Accommodation and food are good, but on a basic level. All in all it is the perfect opportunity to have an amazing time and a good way to experience Africa’s wildlife!

Everything about Eco Training is amazing. For a life changing experience I would strongly suggest spending time with Eco Training.

If there is one, well then this was it!I travelled through Johannesburg via Roodepoort to the Kruger National Park to the Makuleke concession. The welcome was great, and the quality and the experience of all instructors phenomenal! It was an absolute privilege to see and experience the biggest fever tree forest alongside the flood plains of the Limpopo! Dwarfed amongst these 30m fever tree giants we saw herds of elephant, buffalo, eland, zebra, kudu, impala and warthogs, waterbuck and lots of birds and other small animals... yes, all on foot!Humbled by the greatness of nature one realizes with an immediacy and urgency what the species Homo sapiens sapiens is doing to this world! We all should be alarmed to control the detrimental effect of mankind to this planet earth. There are no easy solutions left. The least everyone of us can do is to lessen the impact of our being onto nature! De did the 5 night Wilderness Trails course in Makuleke and it was an absolute breathtaking and awesome experience!Our guides were extremely knowledgeable and we not only experienced true wilderness areas on foot but also learned a lot about the bush, animals, birds, trees and also tracking!We had great encounters with Elephants, Buffalo and Antilopes.We heard Hyenas calling every single night while sleeping under the stars.Highly recommended!

I took part in the 5 day Matric EcoQuest in Karongwe at the end of 2018. I had one of the best experiences of my life. The guides and instructors were so friendly and not only had amazing knowledge of the bush but also had true passion for conservation and beauty of the bush. I am so grateful for the experience the Eco Training family gave me and I cant wait to go back to what feels like a home away from home in the bush!

EcoTraining is a fantastic company who are passionate about the bush, conservation and safari guide training. I had some of my most memorable experiences in the Bush during my time in Karongwe and Makuleke camps.There Pafuri camp in the northern Kruger is a must see.

This company is only interested is fleecing students.The course are skipped through, all were cut short and fudged.The attitude of the administration and management is one of weve had your money so we dont care if the product is poor.Equipment was, St bat best, in poor condition , rifles used on the ARH were dangerous.
