Pick n Pay is bad, Ilanga takes it to new heights. My bank says draw cash from Pick and Pay its cheaper than the ATM. Pick and Pay offer this service and have advertised it on many occassions, but try and draw anything more than a few hundred rand and they put up road blocks.A simple solution was offered by me to resolve the issue, instead they closed the till where I was busy paying and moved the teller elsewhere. So I ended up leaving without the goods and the money I needed.The Pick and Pay opposite Crossing is just as useless.

Worst place to shop ever.Not gonna support them. I would rathe drive 5 kilometers extra to get better service.

PicknPay Illanga has the worst experience in Friendliness. The supervisor gave me that I am too busy look as the woman helping at the Till was arguing that the prices is right. I only go there if I absolutely have to. The staff should be Motivated and trained. Not picked from the street. I realize its not the greatest job but still I think both the employees were thinking they are doing me a favor to shop there. Pathetic.

I was not allowed to fit my planned clothing. While I respect the lockdown regulation, the absurdity struck me. I was told to buy it, take it home and bring it back if it doesnt fit. Now 1, I live 100km away and 2, how safe is it knowing people take it home to fit first? The store should surely be a controled environment? Worse, upon phoning customer service it seems that they knew not of this rule. I dropped my entire selection and left. Unlikely to return.

Products good and pricy as with all P&P shops. Shop is reasonably clean and shelves are well stocked. The main problem is the cashiers who seems to be on a permanent slow strike with an All Black rugby Haka demeanor.

I would be hard pressed to support this Pick n Pay again. The teller was rude and didnt handle my groceries with care. Unfortunately the lady that assisted with the packing just shoved my shopping into the bags. Both of them ignored me, while chatting/fighting with another employee. When I got to my car, the fresh cream container was broken. You can imagine the mess...

Just been there to do my shopping. Could not pay with a, card. No effort made to resolve the problem. Many people had to leave empty handed. No notice at the, door. NOTHING! useless. Do not shop there.

They have about 13 tills, but at any given time only 4 to 5 are open. This results in long queues, making it difficult to access the aisles. Cashiers do not greet you or respond when you greet them first and are rude in general. The layout of the shop is bad, creating a crowded feeling at the tills. The aisles around the store room are inaccessible due to boxes and trolleys blocking them.

The service, language of business, undermine, they fail to fix it. Even waiting for longtime to pay

Disgustingly distasteful experience.When I paid at the till, two of my items checked in at R20 more than stipulated on the shelf price. When I mentioned this, the clerk simply shrugged her shoulders and continued to scan groceries.Unhelpful staff. Disgusting attitudes.I will not have the displeasure of visiting your dirty shop again.

Today my husband (18/01/2017) did some shopping for me at ILanga Mall.When he arrived home with all the shopping I immediately stored everything in the pantry. The lettuce however, I was going to use for a salad. The lettuce was slimy and had turned black in places on the inside,under the first 2 leaves which I discarded. I phoned Customer Care Line and was kept on the line for simply ages. The lady asked for all pertinent questions pertaining to the lettuce. She then suggested that I bring the lettuce back to the shop. I live 24km out of Nelspruit which makes that a 48km round trip (just for a lettuce) I must now on top of all this, pay for telephone calls and petrol? I think not. My only pleasure in all of this is that I will NEVER SHOP AT ANY PIC n PAY AGAIN. EVER. i ALSO WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT THIS EXPERIENCE HAS NOT BEEN THE FIRST. I do not expect anything positive to come out of this. Thank you.

Hardly any tills open, queues blocking the aisles. Shelves empty, once again a poor experience. You would really think they would have gotten this right by now.

Great shop and great staff!

Terrible experience for the 4th time and thats why Im leaving a review. Express till took me 26 min on a tuesday 14:23.....only 2 tills open. The store is so dirty, had to fight my way through empty trolleys and basket to the front of the till. Pricing on numerous items wrongly marked. Sad to say but this is a management problem. Hope you get this person/s sorted

Always in a queue when you need to pay never enough people manning the Tills.

Its time that they let go of more than half of their tills since they clearly dont utilize them.

The customer service of the cashiers are pitiful. Could actually see that the cashier could not care or would rather not have me there bothering her with my purchase. Left everything.

Me and my friends were asked to leave the shop because the cashiers have had knocked off and we were delaying them(01 March 2018) .ive never been treated like this ever before,it was not a nice feeling at all.you guys really need to work on your customer service its pitiful.
