Lovely accommodation in a very old house. Naturally comes with some creaks and sounds that create haunted house stories. But unfortunately I found no ghosts. Only me at 3am trying not to wake anyone looking for sugar. My only issue was that the toilet paper was on the wrong way... 🤨

Didnt know about this place. We stopped to check it out. We had one round each of our drinks. I must tell yall, this pub is beautiful. It is tidy and the staff was also friendly. We had a nice chat with the bar man at the time. Would go there again

Ribs is a definite winner!

Stopped off in a party of 13 people for a bite en-route and we were all very quickly and efficiently fed. Individual bills werent an issue. Well done.

What a nice place to dine. Friendly staff and excellent food. Safe play area with jumping castle for small kids. Very good quality beef available. (We did not try the other dishes) Can recommend the beef ribs, T-bone and Pepper fillet. Can accommodate groups. Very pleasant dining experience. Really worth visiting if you drive through Marquard.

Wow! the staff, service, food, ice cold beer and the welcoming and friendly environment says it all. I love it, I like it I will visit again and again and again..... I gave 4 because I believe theres still room for improvement.

This was value for money. I loved the food as well as the awesome room with fully programmed TV channels, warm bedding, clean rooms.Perfect after a long drive.Drive carefully the potholes are terrible. My tyre burst.The service here is also quite lovely.No fireplace but was well worth my money.A towel and soap is provided. Room has a heater.

A great little place in the heart of Marquard. Had breakfast there every morning of our stay as a part of our B&B, the staff were very accommodating and went over and above to ensure we were catered for.A little gem in the middle of a lovely quiet town.

Quality maintained and meat of great quality. Prices are fair value for money. Going here should not leave you disappointed.

Its a nice enough place but the food was bland. On the platter we ordered everything was the same color.....not exciting at all. The place has potential but it needs a really good cook and a Manger who knows what good food is...and will not send out food that is only OK. I drove 200km to try them out. On an anniversary. And it was extremely disappointing.
