Far and away the best bread in a 120km radius, delicious sandwiches, good coffee and truly indulgent (but not sickly sweet!) baked treats made with top quality ingredients all in a relaxed friendly setting. The chocolate eclairs are out of this world! Also a good selection of frozen free range chicken and other meat products, cold meats and cheeses, biscuits and more. A great place to shop for some healthy-delicious food or for a leisurely lunch or coffee date.

I believe the must be the one place that makes the best chicken mayonnaise sandwiches in town. The staff is super friendly. Jacques and Maya are awesome hosts and the bread and other baked goods, especially the cheesecake, pasteis de nata, chocolate brownies and chocolate mousse are to die for...

Jacques bakes the best bread in the country, his cheesecake is exceptional, the sandwiches are delicious, the coffee is very good and the staff are the best. I love going to this shop.

This Banoffee waffle was incredible! The waffle had the all too rare perfect balance between crunchiness and fluffiness. The homemade caramel and toasted toffee on delicious fresh bananas is an absolutely awesome combo. Keep it up! Would visit again just for this!

Chef Jacques bread is to die for. His cheesecake(baked) must easily be the best in SA. Jacques and Maya and team make your visit special and the food and coffee are delicious.

EVERYTHING from this bakery is UTTERLY delicious! I particularly recommend the Portuguese custard tarts and the banoffee waffles.... heaven on your tongue!

The cheesecake - worth every kilometre of the drive from Durban in KwaZulu-Natal in the hot sun! The panini sandwiches were devoured in silence. Glad they had one left of the roasted veg and pesto and cheese. And the BLT panini sandwich was scrummmmie!

Great fresh ciabatta, rye, and rustique bread. Also delicious toasted sandwiches made to order. If you want something in particular, it is best to order, as stock numbers are never very high.
