We stayed in the Seahorse cottage, while it has potential, it missed a lot of the basics. It was in its prime probably 10 years ago and up keep has been let go since then with broken blinds everywhere, broken shower soap holders and cooking pots that should be replaced to name a few things. The cheap approach to running the accommodation was also seen with the dish towel provided, although new, it was those cheap ineffective ones and terrible toilet paper (2 ply but looks recycled, stretchy that you need to tear) so I had to buy my own. At R1500 per day it was a rip off and would not recommend it!Location wise it was good but requires a quick drive to the shops and beach. Kitchen is good size but oven was dirty. Open plan lounge is nice but TV is small and outdated. Bedrooms are a decent size but the master only has a double bed. Showers are nice and big but as mentioned without a soap holder it was frustrating to use and initially no bath mat was provided until we requested it. No hand soap provided either and one basin had a broken plug. Both bathrooms are ensuite without a door.

We were not too impressed. Very basic and place is not looked after very well. Dishes were not properly cleaned. Bathrooms does not have the basics which you will expect of if you pay R950.00pn. No soap dishes or place to put your items in the shower. No bins in bathroom. The kitchen items is limited ito salad bowls or serving dishes. Only one light in the braairoom was working. No chairs to sit on in the braairoom. The furniture in the living room is below standard as well as the curtains which are not properly hanged. The only real positive was the view.

The best views, spacious, privacy, great walking or running trails, easy access to all activities. Just all round what I needed
