A supposedly reputable agent! If I could I would give it a -5*My property was given to Dedekinds to manage the rentals. They were gleefully taking their comission every month without fail, but neglected to manage the clients or the property!One client left with over R100,000 in rent arrears and the place cost me over R30,000 to bring it back to a habitable condition. Dedekinds did not take responsibility for the cost.Another property again was completely destroyed cost again a pretty penny to repair. They had actually broken through the ceiling in an attempt to rob the neighbouring property!The next property was against left in a disgusting state. Built in cupboards were ripped out and left outside. The wall had great big holes in the walls.There were human decayed teeth on the window sills.The house was filthy !!! I questioned whether they were humans who were actually renting the property!!!There was a water bill for R12,000.There are many many other appalling things but all I want to say is if you want to use Dedekinds as your agent ... Do it at your own risk because Dedekinds will not look after your property..I used them because my dear departed mum put all her faith in them, but sadly they have been nothing but a disappointment.Hope this helps in your choice of agent
